Dinamo Learns First Opponent in Champions League Qualifiers

July 13, 2022 - The Croatian champion Dinamo and the Macedonian champion KF Shkupi will meet in the 2nd round of the Champions League qualifiers on July 19.  The 2021/22 Croatian football champion Dinamo found out their opponent in the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League. Josip Vrlić Retires from Croatia Water Polo? Coach Tucak and Player Misunderstanding

July 12, 2022 - The Croatian Water Polo Federation announced on Tuesday that 36-year-old center Josip Vrlić retired from the Croatia water polo team ahead of the 2022 European Championships in Split at the end of August. However, that no longer seems to be the case.  Croatia water polo coach Ivica Tucak announced a broader list of players he'll use to prepare for the European Championships in Split (August 27 - September 10). Mili Poljičak Becomes First Croat to Win Wimbledon Juniors Title!

July 10, 2022 - Young Croatian tennis player Mili Poljičak, who will turn 18 in three days, has won the Wimbledon Juniors tournament! In the final match, the young Split tennis player and the tournament's third seed defeated American Michael Zheng 7-6(2), 7-6(3). Poljičak thus became the third Croatian tennis player in history to win a junior Grand Slam tournament. Previously, Marin Čilić succeeded in this in 2005 at Roland Garros and Borna Ćorić in 2013 at the US Open. Croatian female tennis players, on the other hand, have six triumphs in junior competitions. Sinković Brothers Take First at World Rowing Cup in Lucerne!

July 10, 2022 - Brothers Martin and Valent Sinković have taken first in the men's double sculls final at the World Rowing Cup in Lucerne! After being the fastest in the semi-final race on Saturday, the Sinković brothers achieved another victory with a result of 6:07.19! Second place was taken by the Australian crew of David Bartholot and Caleb Antill (6:08.10). SuperSport Superkup: Dinamo Beats Hajduk on Penalties at Maksimir

July 9, 2022 - Dinamo beat Hajduk 4:1 on penalties to win the SuperSport Superkup on Saturday in Zagreb.  Dinamo and Hajduk opened the new season of Croatian football, fighting for the first trophy of the season - the SuperSport Superkup. Around two and a half thousand Hajduk fans visited Maksimir for the first derby of the season, many of them on the 'Bili Vlak', or organized train transport that left this morning from Split. July 9, 2022 - Nikola Mektić and Mate Pavić were unable to defend their Wimbledon doubles title after a super tie break in the 5th set decided the match.  Croatia's best doubles team Nikola Mektić and Mate Pavić fought to defend their title at Wimbledon today against Australian duo Matthew Ebden and Max Purcell. Both sides had a difficult journey to the final, and in the semi-final matches, they saved at least one match point. Sinković Brothers Book Lucerne World Rowing Cup Final!

July 9, 2022 - The Sinković brothers rowed well yet again in the World Cup semi-final race to secure the Lucerne World Rowing Cup final! They crossed the finish line with a time of 6:12.16, leaving behind the crews of Lithuania and Great Britain. July 9, 2022 - In the Wimbledon Juniors final, Mili Poljičak will play against American Michael Zheng, who beat Spaniard Martin Landaluce in the semi-final match.  Croatian tennis player Mili Poljičak advanced to the Wimbledon final in the junior competition, defeating Spaniard Pablo Rodenas 7-5, 6-2 in the semi-final match on Friday!  The young Split tennis player, who will turn 18 in less than a week, dominated almost the entire match against Rodenas.
