Carmen Tomasic

Carmen is an Australian Croatian, who has been based between Sydney & Korčula for the last 13 years. In Sydney she spent 10 years working for hospitality heavyweight Justin Hemmes (Merivale group) and also, most recently as Food & Beverage director for QT design hotels. She studied Marketing & Journalism in Sydney which have provided her with a good all-round approach to the hospitality business & enabled her to work in consultancy as well. 

Her experience with a wide range of people and scenes from farm life to high life and a ‘take it with a grain of salt’ attitude, mean there’s never a dull moment as she navigates her way through life in Croatia & its unique challenges compared to the big city of Sydney. She is currently working on a project for a new hospitality group in Korcula (De Canavellis, Moro Stupe, Vrnik Arts Club).
