I first visited Dubrovnik in the early 1980’s as part of a school Mediterranean Cruise trip.  For many years I wanted to return for a longer visit and finally achieved this in 2013. I have been a regular visitor since, at various times of year, enjoying the heat in the summer, and the lack of crowds in the winter. As a solo female traveller I have always felt safe in Dubrovnik. This, along with the fabulous food, lovely wines, gorgeous weather and beautiful scenery are just some of the reasons why I have decided to make Dubrovnik my new home.
