Lyn Church

Singapore-born and raised, Lyn always had an inclination to move beyond its shores, searching for new adventures and fresh experiences. As a result, she has had amazing opportunities to live in numerous countries including Australia, Canada, Dubai, France, Switzerland and Sweden. In 2018, alongside her husband, she took another leap of faith and moved to her latest adoptive country, Split, Croatia. The amalgamation of these experiences reflects in her ability to embrace different cultures and speak three (and a half!) languages including English, Mandarin and Swedish fluently, as well as basic Croatian, French, Cantonese and Malay. Work wise, Lyn has garnered extensive experience across several industries including law, education, real estate and academia, where she is completing a Ph.D. in Science with a focus on Entrepreneurship. She has also undertaken various roles including marketing, communications, business analytics, project management and even a stint as a micro-entrepreneur during her University days. During her downtime, you can frequently find her wandering around Marjan, working on her short stories, brushing up on Croatian, cooking, baking and eating (with the latest obsession being sourdough bread), sniffing around the various Pazars in Split, or simply having coffee along the Riva.
