Martin Mayhew

I have lived and worked as a freelance Croatian-English translator and proofreader in Rijeka since 2003. Originally from Brighton in England, I have been involved in hundreds of cultural, museum, exhibition, academic, arts, music, literary and publishing projects for many clients all over Croatia. Back in the UK, I gained valuable experience in print production, editorial, arts, marketing and communications which has allowed me to excel in the field of translation, editing and writing here in Croatia.

As the translator in the Rijeka 2020 – European Capital of Culture once-in-a-lifetime project, it is a great honour to be part of the cultural heart of Rijeka.
