T. M. Urank

Born in Canada, to parents that came from Croatia’s Slavonia region but with roots in Lika, Zagorje, Bosnia and Slovenia, it’s understandable that embracing multiculturalism and coexistence would be important forces driving the passion for travel and the most international of languages: nature, culture, photography, music, film and storytelling. With a BA in Political Science from the University of Calgary, a diploma from Prague’s FAMU in Directing and Screenwriting and a mild social media addiction fueled by passive activism and a tendency for well-meaning procrastination, the author has spent time exploring, sharing discovered treasures and teaching English in many parts of the world including Zagreb, Ljubljana, Prague, Amsterdam and many other places that have earned permanent spots of affection and appreciation. Inspired by her family, friends, passions and experiences, T. M. Urank has dabbled in telling stories via music videos, corporate videos, poetry and photography and oddly followed around the planet by random shoes left lying in unusual places.
