Zagreb Stock Exchange: Indices Close in Red

ZAGREB, 14 July, 2021 - The main Zagreb Stock Exchange indices fell for the second day in a row on Wednesday, recording a fall of about half a percent. The Crobex decreased by 0.58% to 1,939 points while the Crobex10 fell by 0.9% to 1,196 points. The tourism sector index fell the most, by 1.70%, while the industry sector index increased the most, by 1.91% Regular turnover amounted to HRK 8.8 million or about HRK 1.6 million more than on Tuesday. Zagreb Stock Exchange Indices Down

ZAGREB, 13 July, 2021 - The Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) indices - the Crobex and the Crobex10 - fell on Tuesday by 0.38% to 1,951.02 points and by 0.26% to 1,207.53 points respectively. Today's regular turnover totalled HRK 7.2 million kuna, 2.5 million more than on Monday. The shares of the Podravka food processor were the only to cross the one million kuna mark in turnover, generating a turnover of HRK 2.3 million, with their price decreasing by 0.68% to HRK 582. Kosinj Hydropower Plant Soon to Become Strategic Investment Project

ZAGREB, 12 July, 2021 - The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and the HEP national electricity provider signed an agreement on Monday which would classify the HES Kosinj hydropower system as a strategic investment, the ministry and HEP said. HES Kosinj is valued at HRK 1.54 billion and together with the second part of the project, the Senj 2 hydropower plant, it is the biggest HEP project since Croatia achieved independence, with a total value of HRK 3.4 billion, a press release said. Total Value of 2020 Real Estate Market Transactions Up 0.5% to HRK 40bn

ZAGREB, 9 July 2021- In 2020, there were 103,000 transactions on Croatia's real estate market, or 7.7% fewer than in 2019, probably due to the COVID-19 pandemic to some extent, however the total value of real estate reached HRK 40 billion, 0.5% higher than in 2019. Croatia's Jan-May Exports Up by 25.5%, Imports by 17.5%

ZAGREB, 9 July 2021 - Croatia's commodity exports totalled HRK 53.2 billion in the first five months of 2021, up by 25.5% on the year, while import increased by 17.5%, to HRK 81.4 billion, the State Bureau of Statistics (DZS) reported on Friday. The foreign trade deficit increased by HRK 1.3 billion to HRK 28.2 billion. Coverage of imports by exports reached 65.4%. Exports to EU countries amounted to HRK 36.1 billion or 23.9% more year-on-year. At the same time imports from EU countries increased by 15.3% to HRK 63.5 billion.
