Agrokor Reports Business Results for 2017

ZAGREB, April 28, 2018 - Agrokor generated a non-consolidated revenue of 43.4 billion kuna in 2017, down 10% from 2016, and an operating profit of 1.8 billion kuna, an increase of 8%, the government-appointed administrator for this indebted food and retail conglomerate, Fabris Peruško, said on Friday.

Conflict of Interest Commission Rules in Favour of Finance Minister

ZAGREB, April 27, 2018 - The Croatian Parliament's Conflict of Interest Commission decided by a majority vote on Friday that Finance Minister Zdravko Marić did not breach the relevant law by attending two meetings on the ailing food and retail conglomerate Agrokor and that he protected his integrity and credibility as Finance Minister at those meetings.

Creditors Accuse Other Stakeholders of Trying to Undermine Agrokor

ZAGREB, April 26, 2018 - Agrokor's five financial creditors – Fidelity International, Knighthead Capital Management, Sberbank of Russia, VTB Bank (Europe) and Zagrebačka Banka – said on Wednesday that claim filings based on guarantees issued by Agrokor’s subsidiaries had been reviewed and that they "are fully lawful and valid", accusing some of the protagonists in the process of Agrokor's restructuring "of publicly promoting their particular interests".
