Croatia Logs 73 New Cases, Two COVID-19 Related Deaths

ZAGREB, 23 Aug 2021 - In the past 24 hours, 73 coronavirus cases and two COVID-related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Monday.

The number of active cases is 2,436 and there are 307 hospitalized patients, including 42 on ventilators, while 6,992 persons are self-isolating.

To date, Croatia has registered 369,838 coronavirus cases and 8,303 deaths, while 359,099 persons have recovered from COVID-19, including 330 in the past 24 hours.

To date, 2,470,457 persons have been tested for the virus, including 3,884 in the last 24 hours.

To date, 3,212,783 vaccine doses have been administered, with 41.83% of the population vaccinated, including 50.26% of adults.

One dose has been administered to 41.83% of the total population or to 50.26% of the adult population while 1,579,035 persons have been fully vaccinated, which is 46.81% of the adult population.

Croatia Logs 524 New Coronavirus Cases

ZAGREB, 18 Aug 2021 - In the past 24 hours, 524 coronavirus cases and three COVID-related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Wednesday.

The number of active cases is 2,124 and there are 235 hospitalized patients, including 26 on ventilators, while 5,811 persons are self-isolating.

To date, Croatia has registered 367,518 coronavirus cases and 8,291 deaths, while 357,518 persons have recovered from COVID-19, including 200 in the past 24 hours.

To date, 2,427,268 persons have been tested for the virus, including 9,879 in the past 24 hours when a share of positive tests was 5.3%.

One in two adults get vaccinated

To date, 3,182,592 vaccine doses have been administered, with 41.5% of the population vaccinated, including 49.89% of adults.

One dose has been administered to 1,684,554 persons, while 1,558,636 persons have been fully vaccinated - 1,498,038 who have received both doses and 60,598 who have received a single-dose Janssen vaccine -- which is 46.22% of the adult population.

Croatia Reports 46 COVID-19 Cases, Two Deaths

ZAGREB, 16 Aug 2021 - In the past 24 hours, 46 coronavirus cases, out of 3,124 tests, and two deaths have been confirmed in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Monday.

A total of 212 patients are hospitalized, including 24 on ventilators.

The death toll now stands at 8,285.

There are 1,718 active cases and 5,682 persons are self-isolating.

Croatia has so far tested 2,408,828 people and infection has been confirmed in 376,068. Of that number, 357,065 people have recovered, including 229 in the last 24 hours.

To date, Croatia has vaccinated 49.7% of the adult population and 45.96% of adults have been fully vaccinated.

Croatia Registers 44 New Coronavirus Cases, One Death

ZAGREB, 9 Aug 2021 - In the past 24 hours, 44 new coronavirus cases and one COVID-19- related death have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said Monday.

There are 190 hospitalized patients, including 22 on ventilators.

The death toll currently stands at 8,273.

There are 1,102 active cases while 4,487 persons are self-isolating.

To date, 2,356,266 persons have been tested for the virus, including 3,909 in the past 24 hours.

Also, 41% of the population has been vaccinated, including 49.3% of adults, 45.03% of whom have completed vaccination.

Croatia Registers 247 New Coronavirus Cases, 3 Deaths

ZAGREB, 5 Aug 2021 - Over the past 24 hours, Croatia has registered 247 new coronavirus cases and three related deaths, the national coronavirus crisis management team said on Thursday.

There are 154 hospitalized patients, including 14 who are on ventilators. The number of active cases today stands at 1,221, and 4,048 people are in self-isolation.

To date, Croatia has registered 364,491 coronavirus infections, including 8,270 deaths and 355,000 recoveries, of which 170 in the last 24 hours.

A total of 2,332,341 people have been tested to date, 8,044 of whom over the past 24 hours.

As of 4 August, 3,109,586 vaccine doses have been administered, with 40.8% of the total population and 49.1% of the adult population having been vaccinated.

A total of 1,656,936 persons have been vaccinated with at least one dose and 1,506,706 of them have been fully vaccinated, which represents 44.7% of the adult population.

Croatia Logs 29 New COVID-19 Cases, Three Deaths

ZAGREB, 2 Aug 2021 - Croatia has registered 29 new coronavirus cases and three COVID-19-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team said on Monday.

The number of active cases currently stands at 953. Of them, 156 people are receiving hospital treatment, including 13 on ventilators.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic in the country in late February 2020, a total of 363,787 people have been registered as having contracted the novel virus, of whom 8,266 have died and 354,568 have recovered, including 175 in the last 24 hours.

Currently, 4,326 people are self-isolating.

A total of 2,308,960 people have been tested to date, including 3,243 in the last 24 hours. 

By 1 August, 3,080,719 doses of vaccine had been administered, with 40.6 percent of the total population and 48.8 percent of the adult population having been vaccinated. A total of 1,647,156 people have been inoculated with at least one dose, while 1,485,510 people, or 44.08 percent of the adult population, have been fully inoculated.

Croatia Registers 27 New Coronavirus Cases, 2 Deaths

ZAGREB, 26 July 2021 - Croatia has registered 27 new coronavirus cases and two COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team said on Monday.

Currently, there are 924 active cases in the country, with 138 infected people receiving hospital treatment, of whom 13 are on ventilators.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case was confirmed in Croatia, 362,648 people have been registered as having contracted the novel virus, of whom 8,247 have died and 353,477 have recovered, including 110 in the last 24 hours. Currently, 3,521 people are self-isolating.

To date, 2,251,838 people have been tested for coronavirus, including 3,372 in the last 24 hours.

A total of 3,008,752 doses of vaccine have been administered, with 39.9 percent of the total population or 48 percent of the adult population having been vaccinated. 1,620,439 people have been inoculated with at least one dose, of whom 1,433,059 have been fully inoculated (1,388,313 people have received two doses and 44,746 have been vaccinated with the single-dose Jannsen vaccine), which makes up 42.54 percent of the adult population.

Croatia Reports 139 New COVID Cases, 2 in 5 Adults Fully Vaccinated

ZAGREB, 17 July 2021 - In the last 24 hours, out of 3,834 tests performed for coronavirus, 139, that is 3.6%, have returned positive, Croatia's national COVID-19 crisis management team reported on Saturday.

There are now 723 active cases, and 112 of them are hospitalized patients, including 12 placed on ventilators.

The COVID-related death toll has increased by two to 8,236 in the last 24 hours.

Since the first registered case of the infection with this novel virus in Croatia on 25 February 2020, more than 2.2 million tests have been conducted, showing that 361,488 have caught the virus, and of them, 352,529 have recovered to date, including 99 recoveries in the last 24 hours.

Vaccine rollout: Two in five adults fully vaccinated

To date, more than 2.9 million vaccines against this infection have been administered, and 47% of the adult population have been inoculated.

Until 16 July, 1,584,407 were vaccinated, and 1,357,261 of them were fully vaccinated (1,321,943 people were double-jabbed plus 35,318 who received the single-dose Jannsen vaccine).  Thus every two in five Croatians (40.32%) have fully been vaccinated.

Croatia Logs 114 New Coronavirus Cases, 3 Deaths

ZAGREB, 3 July 2021 - In the last 24 hours, 114 new coronavirus cases and three COVID-related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national coronavirus crisis management team reported on Saturday.

The total number of active cases currently stands at 581. Among them are 131 people receiving hospital treatment, including 11 who are placed on ventilators.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case was confirmed in Croatia, a total of 360,181 people have been registered as having contracted the novel virus, of whom 8,215 have died and 351,385 have recovered, including 74 in the last 24 hours. Currently 3,273 people are in self-isolation.

So far 2,161,431 people have been tested for the coronavirus, including 4,055 in the last 24 hours.

As of 2 July, 2,633,195 doses of vaccines against COVID-19 have been administered, with 1,500,932 people having received at least one dose and 1,132,263 both doses. A total of 32,334 doses were administered on 2 July.

Croatia Registers 211 New Coronavirus Cases, 13 Deaths

ZAGREB, 5 June 2021 - In the past 24 hours, 211 coronavirus cases and 13 deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Saturday.

There are 1,583 active cases, including 598 hospitalised patients, 57 of whom are on ventilators, while 8,385 persons are self-isolating.

To date, Croatia has registered 357,408 coronavirus cases, 8,080 deaths, and 347,745 recoveries, including 297 in the past 24 hours, while 2,404,256 persons have been tested for the virus, including 5,381 in the past 24 hours.

To date, 1,885,772 vaccine doses have been administered, with 1,329,754 persons receiving one dose and 556,018 both.
