Croatia Logs 175 New COVID Cases, Four Deaths

ZAGREB, 23 June 2022 - Croatia has registered 175 new COVID-19 cases and four related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national COVID-19 crisis management team reported on Thursday.

Currently, there are 2,770 active cases, and 210 patients in hospital treatment, including five patients on ventilators.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first infection with the novel SARS-CoV-2 virus was confirmed in the country, COVID-19 has claimed 16,043 lives in Croatia.

As of 22 June 2022, 59.54% of the total population or 70.81% of the adult population has been vaccinated.

Croatia Reports 468 New COVID-19 Cases, Five Related Deaths

ZAGREB, 19 May 2022 - Croatia has recorded 468 new coronavirus cases and five COVID-related deaths in the past 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Thursday.

There are 292 hospitalised patients, 11 of whom are on ventilators.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic in Croatia, a total of 1,133,139 COVID cases have been registered and 15,950 people have died as a consequence. 

Currently there are 3,897 active cases in the country and 1,727 people are self-isolating.

By Wednesday, 5,250,173 doses of a COVID vaccine had been administered, and 59.51 per cent of the total population, or 70.78 per cent of adults, had been vaccinated.

Croatia Logs 1,242 New Coronavirus Cases, 6 Deaths

ZAGREB, 7 April 2022 - In the last 24 hours 1,242 coronavirus cases, out of 5,364 tests, and six related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Thursday.

There are 8,641 active cases, including 591 hospitalised patients, 25 of whom are on ventilators, while 5,167 persons are self-isolating.

Croatia has registered 1,106,557 coronavirus cases to date and the death toll is 15,652.

To date, 59.45% of the population, that is 70.71% of adults, has been vaccinated, including 68.61% of adults fully.

Croatia Reports 1,653 New Coronavirus Cases, 12 Deaths

ZAGREB, 6 April 2022 - In the last 24 hours, 1,653 coronavirus cases, out of 5,902 tests, and 12 covid related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Wednesday.

There are 8,322 active cases, including 593 hospitalised patients, of whom 26 are on ventilators, while 4,893 persons are self-isolating.

Croatia has registered 1,105,315 coronavirus cases to date and the total death toll stands at 15,646.

To date, 59.44% of the total population has been vaccinated. Of this, 70.70% of adults are vaccinated, including 68.60% of adults who are considered to be fully vaccinated.

Croatia Logs 2,294 New COVID Cases, 15 Related Deaths

ZAGREB, 30 March 2022 - Croatia has registered  2,294 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours and 15 patients have died as a consequence, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Wednesday.

There are currently 651 hospitalised patients, 37 of whom are on ventilators. There are also 5,909 people who are self-isolating.

Croatia has registered a total of 1,097,409 cases of COVID-19 since its first registered case on 25 February 2020, and 15,563 people have died as a consequence. 1,071,968 have since recovered from the contagion, including 770 in the past 24 hours. 

To date, a total of 2,237,864 people have been fully vaccinated, representing 65.7% of the adult population.

Croatia Reports 961 New COVID-19 Cases, 11 Deaths

ZAGREB, 27 March 2022 - Croatia has registered 961 new coronavirus cases and 11 related fatalities in the past 24 hours , the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Sunday.

There are currently 10,205 active cases, including 645 hospitalised patients, 40 of whom are on ventilators. There are also 7,145 people who are self-isolating.

Croatia has registered a total of 1,094,059 cases of COVID-19 since the first registered case on 25 February 2020, and 15,520 people have died as a consequence.

A total of 1,068,334 people have recovered, including 1,753 in the last 24 hours.

To date, 2,237,570 people have been fully vaccinated, corresponding to 65.69% of the adult population.

Croatia Logs 8,266 New COVID Cases, 48 Deaths

ZAGREB, 16 Feb 2022 - There have been 8,266 new coronavirus cases in Croatia in the last 24 hours, and 48 more COVID patients have died, bringing the COVID-related death toll to 14,632, the country's COVID crisis management team reported on Wednesday.

There are 32,170  active cases, including 1,966 hospitalised patients, 140 of whom are on ventilators, while 15,012  people are self-isolating, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, Croatia has registered 1,027,572 cases of coronavirus, while 980,770 cases of recovery have been registered, including 2,885 in the past 24 hours.

To date, a total of 4,432,211 tests have been conducted, including 13,052 in the past 24 hours.

A total of 5,166,325 doses of a vaccine have been administered and 56.74% of the total population has been vaccinated, representing 67.51% of the adult population.

A total of 2,302,752 people have been vaccinated with at least one dose while 2,221,069 are fully inoculated, or 65.26% of the adult population.

Croatia Logs 49 COVID-19-Related Deaths, 2,730 New Infections

ZAGREB, 13 Feb 2022 - In the last 24 hours 2,730 coronavirus cases, out of 7,707 tests, and 49 related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Sunday.

There are 37,089 active cases, including 2,115 hospitalised patients, of whom 158 are hooked up to ventilators, while 19,497 persons are self-isolating.

To date 56.72% of the total population, or 67.48% of adults have been vaccinated, with 65.21% of adults fully vaccinated.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case of COVID-19 was reported in Croatia, 1,017,915 people have contracted the disease, while 14,473 have died.

Croatia Logs 3,778 New Coronavirus Cases, 54 Deaths

ZAGREB, 17 Dec 2021 - Croatia has registered 3,778 new coronavirus cases and 54 COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Friday.

Currently, there are 23,931 active cases in the country. Among them are 2,188 infected persons receiving hospital treatment and 288 of them are on ventilators. A total of 23,619 people are self-isolating.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first infection with the SARS CoV-2 virus was confirmed in the country, 669,940 people have been registered as having contracted the new virus, of whom 11,879 have died and 634,130 have recovered, including 3,875 in the last 24 hours.

A total of 3,627,745 persons have been tested to date, including 11,870 in the last 24 hours.

As of Thursday, 4,490,656 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered, with 55.15 per cent of the total population, or 65.74 per cent of the adult population, having been vaccinated. A total of 2,237,974 people have received at least one dose and 2,073,410 of them have been fully vaccinated, which is 61.1 per cent of the adult population.

Croatia Logs 3,797 New COVID-19 Cases, 71 Deaths

ZAGREB, 10 Dec 2021 - Croatia has registered 3,797 new coronavirus cases and 71 COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Friday.

The number of active cases stands at 26,824 and among them 2,329 infected persons are receiving hospital treatment, including 326 who are on ventilators.

A total of 23,617 people are self-isolating.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case was confirmed in Croatia, 648,003 people have been registered as having contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus, of whom 11,516 have died.

A total of 609,663 people have recovered, including 4,585 in the last 24 hours.

To date, 3,559,322 people have tested for the new virus, of whom 11,178 in the last 24 hours.

As of Thursday, 4,338,159 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered, with 54.74 per cent of the total population, or 65.28 per cent of the adult population, having been vaccinated. A total of 2,221,412 people have received at least one dose and 2,019,336 of them have been fully vaccinated, which is 59.56 per cent of the adult population.
