Croatia Logs 426 New Coronavirus Cases, 4 Deaths

ZAGREB, 20 May 2022 - Croatia has recorded 426 new coronavirus cases and four COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national COVID-19 response team reported on Friday.

The total number of active cases in the country currently stands at 3,556. Of them, 273 infected persons are being treated in hospital, including nine who are on ventilators, while 1,695 people are self-isolating.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case was registered in the country, the SARS-CoV-2 virus has been confirmed in 1,133, 565 persons, of whom 15,954 have died and 1,114,055 have recovered, including 763 in the last 24 hours. 

A total of 4,853,937 people have tested for the novel virus to date, including 2,684 in the last 24 hours.

By Thursday, 5,250,537 COVID-19 vaccine doses had been administered, and 59.51 percent of the total population, or 70.78 percent of adults, had been vaccinated.

To date, 2,314,201 people have received at least one dose and 2,243,283 of them have been fully vaccinated, which is 68.72 percent of the adult population.

Croatia Reports 42 New Coronavirus Cases, 12 Deaths

ZAGREB, 16 May 2022 - Croatia has recorded 42 new coronavirus cases and 12 COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national COVID-19 response team reported on Monday morning.

The total number of active cases in the country currently stands at 3,429. A total of 364 infected persons are being treated in the hospital, of whom 15 are on ventilators, and 1,697 people are self-isolating.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case was registered in the country, the SARS-CoV-2 virus has been confirmed in 1,131, 492 persons and 15,942 of them have died. 

A total of 4,839,184 people have tested for the novel virus to date, including 1,033 in the last 24 hours.

By Sunday, 5,249,003 COVID-19 vaccine doses had been administered, and 59.51 percent of the total population, or 70.78 percent of adults, had been vaccinated.

Croatia Reports 345 New COVID-19 Infections, 5 Related Deaths

ZAGREB, 15 May 2022 - In the last 24 hours 345 coronavirus cases, out of 2,930 tests, and 5 related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Sunday.

There are 4,115 active cases, including 356 hospitalised patients, 15 of whom are on ventilators, while 2,154 persons are self-isolating.

To date, Croatia has registered 1,131,450 coronavirus cases and the death toll is 15,930.

A total of 70.78% of adults have received at least one dose of a COVID vaccine, and 68.71% of adults have been fully vaccinated.

Croatia Reports 960 New COVID-19 Cases, 6 Deaths

ZAGREB, 11 May 2022 - 6 people have died of COVID-19 and 960 new infections have been registered in Croatia in the last 24 hours, while the number of active cases stands at 4,758, the national coronavirus crisis management team said on Wednesday.

A total of 367 patients are hospitalised, including 15 who are on ventilators, while 2,154 persons are self-isolating.

A total of 4,874 persons have been tested in the last 24 hours.

To date, Croatia has registered 1,129,199 coronavirus cases, 15,905 deaths, and 68.70% of the adult population has completed vaccination.

Croatia Logs 406 New Coronavirus Cases, 7 Deaths

ZAGREB, 8 May 2022 - Croatia has recorded 406 new coronavirus cases and 7 COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Sunday.

The number of active cases in the country now stands at 5,017, of whom 379 infected persons are being treated in hospital, including 16 placed on ventilators, while 2,763 persons are self-isolating.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case was confirmed in Croatia, 1,127,742 people have been registered as having contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus, of whom 15,888 have died and 1,106,837 have recovered, including 812 in the last 24 hours.

A total of 4,813,913 COVID-19 tests have been done to date, including 3,097 in the last 24 hours.

By Saturday, 5,246,631 vaccine doses had been administered, with 59.50% of the total population, or 70.77% of adults, having been vaccinated. A total of 2,313,643 people had received at least one dose and 2,242,454 of them had been fully vaccinated, which is 68.70% of the adult population.

Croatia Reports 1,390 New Coronavirus Cases, 7 Deaths

ZAGREB, 27 April 2022 - Croatia has recorded 1,390 new coronavirus cases and seven COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Wednesday.

The number of active cases in the country now stands at 5,248, of whom 435 infected persons are being treated in hospital, including 22 placed on ventilators, while 3,114 persons are self-isolating.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case was confirmed in Croatia, 1,119,916 people have been registered as having contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus, of whom 15,808 have died and 1,098,860 have recovered, including 264 in the last 24 hours.

A total of 4,776,342 people have tested for COVID-19 to date, including 5,413 in the last 24 hours.

By Tuesday, 5,241,301 vaccine doses had been administered, with 59.48% of the total population, or 70.74% of adults, having been vaccinated. A total of 2,312,896 people had received at least one dose and 2,241,380 of them had been fully vaccinated, which is 68.67% of the adult population.

Croatia Logs 478 New Coronavirus Cases, 5 Deaths

ZAGREB, 20 April 2022 - In the last 24 hours, 478 coronavirus cases, out of 3,861 tests, and 5 related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Wednesday. 

There are 3,623 active cases, including 516 hospitalised patients, while 1,878 persons are self-isolating.

To date, Croatia has registered 1,114,141 coronavirus cases, the death toll is 15,757, and 70.73% of the adult population has been vaccinated, including 68.65% who are considered to be fully vaccinated.

Croatia Logs 515 New Coronavirus Cases, 10 Deaths

ZAGREB, 10 April 2022 - In the last 24 hours 515 coronavirus cases, out of 3,127 tests, and ten related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Sunday.

There are 6,738 active cases, including 525 hospitalised patients, 25 of whom are on ventilators, while 4,812 persons are self-isolating.

Croatia has registered 1,109,066 coronavirus cases to date and the death toll is 15,685.

To date, 59.45% of the population, or 70.72% of adults, have been vaccinated, including 68.62% of adults who are considered fully vaccinated.

Croatia Reports 1,653 New Coronavirus Cases, 12 Deaths

ZAGREB, 6 April 2022 - In the last 24 hours, 1,653 coronavirus cases, out of 5,902 tests, and 12 covid related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Wednesday.

There are 8,322 active cases, including 593 hospitalised patients, of whom 26 are on ventilators, while 4,893 persons are self-isolating.

Croatia has registered 1,105,315 coronavirus cases to date and the total death toll stands at 15,646.

To date, 59.44% of the total population has been vaccinated. Of this, 70.70% of adults are vaccinated, including 68.60% of adults who are considered to be fully vaccinated.

Croatia Logs 809 New Coronavirus Cases, 9 Deaths

ZAGREB, 3 April 2022 - Croatia has recorded 809 new coronavirus cases and 9 COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Sunday.

The number of active cases in the country currently stands at 8,946. Among them are 648 infected people who are being treated in hospitas. 38 of them are on ventilators, while 6,399 persons are self-isolating.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case was confirmed in Croatia, 1,102,730 people have been registered as having been infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, of whom 15,601 have died and 1,078,183 have recovered, including 1,557 in the last 24 hours.

A total of 4,691,685 people have been tested for the novel virus, including 3,867 in the last 24 hours.

By Saturday, 5,227,996 COVID-19 vaccination doses had been administered and 59.44% of the total population, or 70.70% of adults, had been vaccinated. A total of 2,311,202 people had received at least one vaccine dose and 2,238,604 of them had been fully vaccinated, which is 68.59% of the adult population.
