Croatia's Coronavirus Update: 1,454 New Cases, Three Deaths

ZAGREB, 7 July 2022 - In the last 24 hours, there have been 1,454 new cases of infection with coronavirus in Croatia and three COVID patients have died, the country's national COVID-19 crisis management team reported on Thursday.

There are currently 7,901 active cases, and 349 of them are receiving hospital treatment, including 13 patients on ventilators.

Since the first registered case of infection with this novel virus in Croatia on 25 February 2020, there have been over 1.15 million cases diagnosed, and the COVID-related death toll stands at 16,096.

In the last 24 hours, there have been 691 recoveries.

Croatia has conducted nearly five million COVID tests so far, including 4,053 in the last 24 hours.

To date, nearly 71% of adults have been vaccinated against this infectious disease.

Croatia Logs 1,794 New Coronavirus Cases, Four Deaths

ZAGREB, 6 July 2022 - Croatia has registered 1,794 coronavirus cases and four deaths over the past 24 hours, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Wednesday.

There are 7,141 active cases, including 312 hospitalised patients, 12 of whom are on ventilators, and 2,949 persons are self-isolating.

To date, a total of 4,957,517 tests have been done, including 4,677 over the past 24 hours.

Since the first registered case of infection with this novel virus in Croatia on 25 February 2020, a total of 1,154,129 infections have been diagnosed, while the death toll is 16,093.

As at 5 July, a total of 70.82% of the adult population have been vaccinated, including 68.78% fully.

Croatia Reports 813 New Coronavirus Cases

ZAGREB, 3 July 2022 - In the last 24 hours, 813 coronavirus cases, out of 2,798 tests, and six related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Sunday.

There are 6,336 active cases, including 275 hospitalized patients, five of whom are on ventilators, while 3,142 persons are self-isolating.

To date, Croatia has registered 1,151,466 coronavirus cases, the death toll is 16,079, and 70.82% of the adult population has been vaccinated, including 68.78% fully.

Croatia Logs 1,197 New Coronavirus Cases, 1 Death

ZAGREB, 29 June 2022 - Croatia has registered 1,197 new coronavirus cases and one related death in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Wednesday.

The number of active cases now stands at 4,647, including 243 infected persons who are being treated in hospital, of whom five are placed on ventilators, while 2,082 people are self-isolating.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first COVID-19 case was confirmed in Croatia, 1,147,380 people have been registered as having contracted the novel virus, of whom 16,060 have died and 1,126,673 have recovered, including 252 in the last 24 hours.

To date, 4,936,808 persons have tested for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, including 3,516 in the last 24 hours. A total of 5,257,861 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered, and 59.55 per cent of the total population, or 70.82 per cent of adults, have been vaccinated. 2,315,438 persons have received at least one dose and 2,245,066 of them have been fully vaccinated, which is 68.77 per cent of the adult population.

Croatia's COVID-19 Update: 1,087 New Cases, One Death, 398 Recoveries

ZAGREB, 25 June 2022 - In the last 24 hours there have been 1,087 new cases of the infection with coronavirus, one COVID patient has died, and 394 patients have recovered, Croatia's COVID-19 crisis management team reported on Saturday.

There are currently 3,598 active cases of COVID-19 disease in the country, and 210 of them are hospitalised patients ,including five placed on ventilators.

Since the first registered case of the infection with the novel virus in Croatia on 25 February 2020, as many as 1,145,053 cases of the infection have been diagnosed. To date, 16,049 patients have died of the disease, and there have been 1,125,407 recoveries, including 398 in the last 24 hours.

Nearly 69% of adults have fully been vaccinated.

Croatia Coronavirus Update: 612 News Cases, Four Deaths, 468 Recoveries

ZAGREB, 24 June 2022 - In the last 24 hours, there have been 612 new cases of the infection with coronavirus, and four more COVID patients have died, while  468 have recovered from this infectious disease, Croatia's COVID-19 crisis management team reported on Friday.

Currently, 229 patients are receiving hospital treatment for this disease, and five of them are on ventilators.

Until 23 June, 59.54% of the total population, or 70.81% of adults were vaccinated against this disease which has so far taken 16,047 lives in Croatia.

Croatia's Coronavirus Update: 834 New Cases, Four Deaths

ZAGREB, 22 June 2022 - In the last 24 hours, there have been 834 new cases of infection with coronavirus, and four more patients have died, Croatia's COVID-19 crisis management team reported on Wednesday.

Currently, there are 2,834 active cases, and 188 patients are receiving hospital treatment, including four patients on ventilators.

The infectious disease has taken 16,039 lives in the country so far.

In the last 24 hours, 140 persons have recovered from the disease.

Croatia Logs 29 New COVID-19 Cases, One Death

ZAGREB, 20 June 2022 - In the past 24 hours, 29 new cases of SARS-CoV-2 virus have been recorded in Croatia, and one person has died, the national COVID-19 response team reported on Monday.

There are currently a total of 2,017 active cases, including 167 hospitalized patients, of whom six are on ventilators.

Since the first case was recorded in Croatia on 25 February 2020, a total of 1,141,948 cases of the novel coronavirus have been recorded to date and 16,031 people have died as a consequence.

Currently, 833 persons are self-isolating. A total of 4,916,450 persons have been tested, including 379 in the last 24 hours.

Croatia Logs 431 New COVID Cases, 3 Deaths, Over 5 million Doses Administered So Far

ZAGREB, 18 June Zagreb - In the last 24 hours, there have been 431 new cases of the infection with coronavirus, and three more COVID patients have died raising the death toll to 16,027 in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team reported on Saturday.

There are currently 2,190 active cases, including 158 hospitalised patients, of whom eight are on ventilators.

Since the first registered case of the infection with this novel virus in Croatia on 25 February 2020, over 1.14 million infections have been diagnosed.

Until this Friday (17 June), 5,256,551 shots of vaccines have been administered in Croatia, and 70.81% of adults have been inoculated.

12.2 million doses procured, nearly 5.3 million administered to date

To date, Croatia has procured 12.2 million doses of vaccines against this infectious disease, according to the data released by the Croatian Institute of Public Health (HZJZ).

Currently 1.3 million doses are being stored in the country. Croatia had to destroy 355,000 doses of vaccines after their expiry date.

Croatia has also donated two million doses.

Croatia Reports 68 New Coronavirus Cases, 2 Deaths

ZAGREB, 17 June 2022 - Croatia has registered 68 new coronavirus cases and two COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Friday.

The number of active cases in the country currently stands at 2,061. Among them are 150 people who are being treated in hospital, including seven who are placed on ventilators, while 1,038 persons are self-isolating.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first COVID-19 case was confirmed in the country, 1,141,115 people have been registered as having contracted the novel SARS-CoV-2 virus, of whom 16,024 have died and 1,123,030 have recovered, including 337 in the last 24 hours.

To date, 4,912,741 people have tested for the novel virus, including 674 in the last 24 hours. 5,256,273 vaccine doses have been administered and 59.54 per cent of the total population, i.e. 70.81 per cent of adults, have been vaccinated.
