Croatia's Coronavirus Update: 205 New Cases, 5 Deaths

ZAGREB, 22 May 2022 - In the last 24 hours, there have been 205 new cases of the infection with coronavirus and the disease has taken five more lives, according to the data presented by Croatia's COVID-19 crisis management team on Sunday.

There are currently 3,106 active cases of COVID-19, and 264 patients diagnosed with this diseases are receiving hospital treatment, of whom five are placed on ventilatrs.

 Also, 1,536 Croatians are self-isolating.

Since the first registered case of this infectious disease in Croatia on 25 February 2020, over 1.13 million cases have been registered. Currently the COVID-related death toll stands at 15,966.

So far, there have been 1,115,160 recoveries, including 534 in the last 24 hours.

To date, 59.51% of the total population, or 70.78% of adults, have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

Croatia Reports 778 New COVID-19 Cases, 9 Deaths

ZAGREB, 6 May (2022) - Croatia has recorded 778 new coronavirus cases and nine COVID-related deaths in the past 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Friday.

The number of active cases in the country now stands at 5,367, and 385 patients are being treated in hospital, including 16 placed on ventilators, while 2,959 people are self-isolating.

To date, 4,807,551 people have tested for the SARS CoV-2 virus, including 3,455 in the past 24 hours.

A total of 5,246,003 million COVID vaccine doses have been administered, and 59.50% of the total population, or 70.76% of the adult population, have been inoculated.

Croatia Reports 896 New COVID-19 Cases, Five Deaths

ZAGREB, 29 April (2022) - Croatia has recorded 896 new coronavirus cases and five COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Friday.

The number of active cases in the country now stands at 6,018, of whom 433 infected persons are being treated in hospital, including 18 placed on ventilators, while 3,764 persons are self-isolating.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case was confirmed in Croatia, 1,121,662 people have been registered as having contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus, of whom 15,822 have died and 1,099,822 have recovered, including 622 in the last 24 hours.

A total of 4,783,774 people have tested for COVID-19 to date, including 3,476 in the last 24 hours.

By Thursday, 5,242,917 vaccine doses had been administered, with 59.49 per cent of the total population, or 70.75 per cent of adults, having been vaccinated. A total of 2,313,107 people had received at least one dose and 2,241,736 of them had been fully vaccinated, which is 68.68 per cent of the adult population.

Croatia Logs 839 New Coronavirus Cases, 7 Deaths

ZAGREB, 22 April (2022) - Croatia has recorded 839 new coronavirus cases and seven COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Friday.

The number of active cases in the country now stands at 4,329, of whom 479 infected persons are being treated in hospital, including 22 placed on ventilators, while 2,656 persons are self-isolating.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case was confirmed in Croatia, 1,116,281 people have been registered as having contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus, of whom 15,772 have died and 1,096,180 have recovered, including 846 in the last 24 hours.

A total of 4,758,247 people have tested for COVID-19 to date, including 3,837 in the last 24 hours.

By Thursday, 5,239,275 vaccine doses had been administered, with 59.47 per cent of the total population, or 70.74 per cent of adults, having been vaccinated. A total of 2,312,602 people had received at least one dose and 2,240,929 of them had been fully vaccinated, which is 68.66 per cent of the adult population.

Croatia Reports 382 New Coronavirus Cases, 10 Deaths

ZAGREB, 17 April 2022 - In the last 24 hours, 382 coronavirus cases, out of 2,228 tests, and ten related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Sunday.

There are 4,745 active cases, including 477 hospitalised patients, of whom 24 are on ventilators, while 2,742 persons are self-isolating.

To date, 59.46% of the total population representing 70.73% of adults, has been vaccinated against the virus, including 68.64% of adults who have been fully vaccinted.

Croatia Reports 668 New COVID-19 Cases, Five Deaths

ZAGREB, 15 April (2022) - In the last 24 hours, 668 coronavirus cases, out of 2,871 tests, and five related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Friday.

There are 5,522 active cases, including 503 hospitalised patients, 24 of whom are on ventilators, while 3,372 persons are self-isolating.

To date, Croatia has registered 1,112,491 coronavirus cases, the death toll is 15,720, and 59.46% of the total population, i.e. 70.73% of adults, have been vaccinated against COVID, including 68.64% of adults fully.

Croatia Logs 515 New Coronavirus Cases, 10 Deaths

ZAGREB, 10 April 2022 - In the last 24 hours 515 coronavirus cases, out of 3,127 tests, and ten related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Sunday.

There are 6,738 active cases, including 525 hospitalised patients, 25 of whom are on ventilators, while 4,812 persons are self-isolating.

Croatia has registered 1,109,066 coronavirus cases to date and the death toll is 15,685.

To date, 59.45% of the population, or 70.72% of adults, have been vaccinated, including 68.62% of adults who are considered fully vaccinated.

Croatia Reports 1,091 New Coronavirus Cases, 8 Deaths

ZAGREB, 8 April (2022) - Croatia has recorded 1,091 new coronavirus cases and eight COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Friday.

Currently, there are 8,040 active cases in the country. Of them, 564 infected people are being treated in hospital, including 28 placed on ventilators, while 5,280 persons are self-isolating.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first COVID-19 case was confirmed in Croatia, 1,107,648 people have been registered as having been infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, of whom 15,660 have died and 1,083,948 have recovered, including 1,684 in the last 24 hours.

A total of 4,713,967 people have tested for the new virus to date, including 4,572 in the last 24 hours.

By Thursday, 5,232,556 COVID-19 vaccine doses had been administered, with 59.45 per cent of the total population, or 70.71 per cent of adults, having been vaccinated. A total of 2,311,704 people had received at least one dose and 2,239,457 of them had been fully immunised, which is 68.62 per cent of the adult population.

Croatia Reports 1,442 New Coronavirus Cases, 9 Deaths

ZAGREB, 1 April (2022) - Croatia has recorded 1,442 new coronavirus cases and nine COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Friday.

The number of active cases in the country stands at 9,976. Currently, 657 infected people are being treated in hospital and 40 of them are on ventilators, while 6,599 are self-isolating.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case was confirmed in Croatia, 1,100,618 people have been registered as having been infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, of whom 15,584 have died.

A total of 4,683,210 people have tested for the novel virus, including 5,016 in the last 24 hours.

By Thursday, 70.69 per cent of the adult population had received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, while 68.58 per cent of adults had been fully vaccinated.

On Thursday, 852 vaccine doses were administered and 101 persons received their first dose.

Croatia Logs 1,815 New COVID Cases, 10 Related Deaths

ZAGREB, 25 March (2022) - Croatia has registered 1,815 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours and 10 patients have died as a consequence, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Friday. 

There are currently 11,186 active cases, including 628 hospitalised patients, 43 of whom are on ventilators. There are also 7,156 people who are self-isolating.

Croatia has registered a total of 1,091,511 cases of COVID-19 since its first registered case on 25 February 2020, and 15,495 people have died as a consequence while 1,064,830 have recovered from the contagion, including 2,067 in the last 24 hours.

To date, a total of 2,237,237 people have been fully vaccinated, which is 65.68% of the adult population.
