Croatia Reports 150 New Coronavirus Cases, 13 Deaths

ZAGREB, 22 March, 2021 - A total of 150 new coronavirus cases and 13 related deaths have been registered in Croatia in the last 24 hours, the national COVID-19 response team said on Monday.

The number of active cases currently stands at 6,280, of whom 1,033 infected people are receiving hospital treatment, including 95 placed on ventilators.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first cases was confirmed in the country, 257,789 infected people have been registered, of whom 5,786 have died and 245,723 have recovered, including 779 in the last 24 hours.

Currently, 21,879 people are in self-isolation. To date, 1,477,537 people have been tested for the novel virus, including 2,521 in the last 24 hours.

Croatia's Coronavirus Update: 1,112 New Cases, 17 Deaths, 785 Recoveries

ZAGREB, 19 March, 2021 - In the last 24 hours, Croatia has performed 6,553 tests for coronavirus and 1,112 of them, or 17%, have returned positive, the national COVID-19 crisis management team reported on Friday.

Currently, there are 6,426 active cases in the country, and of them, 918 patients are receiving hospital treatment, including 80 placed on ventilators.

In the last 24 hours, the death toll related to COVID-19 has increased by 17 to 5,743.

Since the outbreak of this infectious disease in late February last year, as many as 1.46 million tests have been performed, and 255,619 people have turned out to be positive. Of them, 243,450 have recovered, including 785 in the last 24 hours.

Currently, 21,803 persons are self-isolating.

Croatia Logs 1,197 New Coronavirus Cases, 17 Deaths

ZAGREB, 18 March, 2021 - In the past 24 hours 1,197 new coronavirus cases and 17 COVID deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 response team said on Thursday.

The number of active cases is 6,116, including 894 hospitalised patients, of whom 84 are on ventilators, while 20,528 people are self-isolating.

To date Croatia has registered 254,507 coronavirus cases, 5,726 COVID deaths and 242,665 recoveries, including 554 in the past 24 hours, and 1,454,984 persons have been tested for the virus, including 7,619 in the past 24 hours. The positive rate of tests in the last 24 hours was 15.7%.

Croatia Logs 691 New Coronavirus Cases, 12 Deaths

ZAGREB, 16 March, 2021 - Croatia has registered 691 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours while 12 people have died as a consequence, and currently there are 4,475 active cases in the country, the national COVID-19 response team reported on Tuesday. 

Of the total number of active cases, 858 are hospitalised patients, 78 of whom are on ventilators.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case of COVID-19 was registered in Croatia, a total of 251,865 people have been affected with the virus.

The death toll in that period has reached 5,697 while 241,693 people have recovered, 546 of whom have recovered in the past 24 hours.

There are currently 17,271 people in self-isolation.

A total of 1,438,689 tests have been conducted to date, including 7,347 in the past 24 hours.

Coronavirus Update: 823 New Infections, 12 Fatalities

ZAGREB, 12 March, 2021 - Over the past 24 hours, 823 people in Croatia have contracted coronavirus and 12 have died, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Friday.

There are currently 4,522 active cases of the infection, 811 COVID-19 patients are being treated in hospitals, and 78 of them are on ventilators.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case of the infection was recorded in Croatia, the country has registered 249,661 people infected with coronavirus and 5,647 people have died.

A total of 239,492 people have recovered, including 578 over the past 24 hours.

There are currently 17,012 people in self-isolation.

To date, 1,416,328 people have been tested, including 5,945 in the last 24 hours.

Croatia's Coronavirus Update: 962 New Cases, 4 Deaths, 334 Recoveries

ZAGREB, 10 March, 2021 - In the last 24 hours Croatia has conducted 7,499 coronavirus tests, and of them 12.8%, that is 962, have returned positive, the national COVID-19 crisis management team reported on Wednesday.

The death toll linked to COVID-19 has risen by four more fatalities to 5,625.

Currently, there are 3,981 active cases, including 807 hospitalised patients of whom 82 are placed on ventilators.

Since the first registered case of the coronavirus infection in the country on 25 February 2020, more than 1.4 million tests have been conducted, and of them, 248,061 have turned out to be positive.

To date, 238,455 people have recovered from this infectious disease.

There are now 14,537 people self-isolating.

Croatia Reports 491 New Coronavirus Infections, 12 Deaths

ZAGREB, 9 March, 2021 - Over the past 24 hours, 491 people in Croatia have contracted coronavirus and 12 have died, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Tuesday.

There are currently 3,357 active cases of the infection, 785 COVID patients are being treated in hospitals, and 78 of them are on ventilators.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case of the infection was recorded in Croatia, the country has registered 247,099 people infected with coronavirus.

A total of 5,621 people have died and 238,121 have recovered, 476 of whom over the past 24 hours.

There are currently 13,687 people in self-isolation.

To date, 1,396,129 people have been tested, including 8,183 in the last 24 hours.

Croatia Reports 94 New Coronavirus Cases, 19 Deaths Linked to COVID

ZAGREB, 8 March, 2021 - In the last 24 hours, of 2,178 coronvairus tests performed in Croatia, 4.3%, that is 94, have returned positive, the country's COVID-19 crisis management team told a news conference in Zagreb on Monday.

Currently, there are 805 COVID patients in hospitals, including 74 placed on respirators.

In the last 24 hours, the health authorities have reported 19 new fatalities linked to COVID, and the death toll stands now at 5,609.

Croatia's Coronavirus Update: 658 New Cases, 15 Deaths, 482 Recoveries

ZAGREB, 6 March, 2021 - In the last 24 hours, Croatia has conducted 5,838 coronavirus tests, and 658, that is 11.3%, have returned positive, the country's COVID-19 crisis management team reported on Saturday.

In the said period, there have been 15 deaths linked to COVID-19, bringing the death toll to 5,585.

Currently, Croatia has 3,770 active cases, of whom 738 are hospitalised patients, including 72 placed on ventilators.

Since 25 February 2020, when Croatia recorded its first case of infection with coronavirus, 1.38 million persons have been tested and 246,120 have contracted the virus. Of them, 236,765 have recovered, including 482 in the last 24 hours.

There are now 15,312 people self-isolating in the country.

Croatia Logs 590 New Coronavirus Cases, Six Deaths

ZAGREB, 5 March, 2021 - Croatia has recorded 590 new coronavirus cases and six related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national COVID-19 response team reported on Friday morning.

The number of active cases currently stands at 3,609. Of them, 744 are receiving hospital treatment, including 76 who are on ventilators.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case was confirmed in Croatia, 245,462 have contracted the novel virus, of whom 5,570 have died and 236,283 have recovered, including 533 in the last 24 hours.

A total of 14,812 people are in self-isolation.

To date, 1,373,877 people have been tested, including 5,429 in the last 24 hours.
