Croatia Taking Part in EU-China Tourism Year

ZAGREB, January 19, 2018 - The EU-China Tourism Year 2018, aimed at strengthening cooperation between China and the EU in the field of tourism, was officially inaugurated on Friday in Venice with numerous officials from EU countries, the European Commission and China in attendance, including Croatia's Tourism Minister Gari Cappelli who said that Croatia expected more tourists from China this year.

A Record Year for Croatian Tourism: Official 2017 Numbers Announced

ZAGREB, Jan 15, 2018 (Hina) - Last year 18.5 million tourists visited Croatia and generated 102 million overnight stays, which are increases of 13 percent and 12 percent respectively compared with 2016, and revenues are expected to exceed those from the previous year, Tourism Minister Gari Cappelli told a press conference in Zagreb on Monday.
