ZAGREB, 27 July 2022 - In May 2022, industrial turnover was 24.3% higher on the year and 10% on the month, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (DZS) said on Tuesday.
Year on year, industrial turnover went up by 28.2% on the domestic and by 19.4% on the foreign market.
In May, the highest year-on-year increase was recorded in the sale of energy, +58.6%.
It was followed by durable consumer goods (+33.2%)
Industrial turnover of intermediate products grew 24.6%, of non-durable consumer goods (+19..4%), and capital goods by 18.3%.
Year on year, industrial turnover has been increasing since early 2021, except in February that year, when it dropped 7.7%. In January 2021, it was up by 1.7% and since March increases have been in two-digit numbers, the highest in April (+40.6).
Month on month, industrial turnover in May 2022 increased by 8.1% on the domestic and by 11.8% on the foreign market.

ZAGREB, 1 Nov 2021 - Croatia's industrial turnover in August 2021 rose by 22.5% on the year and by 3.2% on the month, according to data by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics.
In August 2021, the seasonally adjusted industrial turnover increased by 22.3% on the domestic market and by 24.1% on the non-domestic market, compared to August 2020.
In terms of main industrial groupings, in August, the highest year-on-year increase, of 43%, was recorded in energy sales.
Sales of capital goods rose by 25.2%, intermediate goods by 22.1%, consumer non-durables by 18.7%, and consumer durables by 13.3%.
Industrial turnover has been growing on the year since the beginning of this year, with the exception of February, when it dropped by 7.7%. January saw the smallest increase, of 1.7%, while in March the increase was 11.7%, in April 40.6%, in May 36%, in June 20.8%, and in July 17.8%.
Industrial turnover in the first eight months went up by 17.4% year on year.
During the month, industrial turnover rose by 3.2% in August, increasing by 2.2% on the domestic market and by 1.5% on the non-domestic market.
In August, compared to July, total sales of capital goods increased by 5%, of consumer non-durables by 3.1%, and of intermediate goods by 2.8%, while total energy sales dropped by 21% and sales of consumer durable by 7.9%.

ZAGREB, 2 July 2021- In April 2021, industrial turnover was up by 1.3% on the month and by 40.6% on the year, according to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics.
Year on year, industrial turnover increased by 28.9% on the domestic and by 58.1% on the foreign market. The sale of durable consumer goods saw the highest increase, by 124.5%, followed by capital goods (+85.5%), energy (+79.3%), intermediate goods (+33.2%) and non-durable consumer goods (+16.8%).
Industrial turnover has been increasing annually since the start of the year, except in February, when it fell by 7.7%. It went up by 1.7% in January and by 11.7% in March. In the first four months of 2021, industrial turnover increased by 10.5% year on year.
Month on month, industrial turnover in April 2021 decreased by 0.1% on the domestic market, while increasing by 10.9% on the foreign market. The sale of energy went up by 87.7%, followed by capital goods (+21.1%), while intermediate goods saw a decrease (-8%), followed by non-durable consumer goods (-3%) and durable consumer goods (-1.6%).
