A new project for Klis fortress has been granted funds by the Interreg IPA Cross Border Cooperation program.
The Tourist Boards of Dugopolje and Klis, along with the Tourist Boards of Sinj, Trilj and Vrlika, and with the support of the Croatian Tourist Board, have drawn up a detailed tourist map of the entire area of the Dalmatian hinterland and the inland region of Split.
Dalmacija News reports that the project for the Dalmacija Ultra Trail race has entered its final week of preparations which have lasted lasted over a year - tracing more than 300 kilometers of tracks, more than 2000 hours of work, and over 200 volunteers.
Yesterday, in the City Hall of the Municipality of Klis, a presentation took place outlining the preliminary design of construction for the University Campus in Klis. Some components of the university included a technology park and related facilities to the municipal council of the Municipality of Klis.
Organized by the Agency for the Development of Split-Dalmatia County - RERA SD, as part of the AdriaWealth International Movie Convention, various cities in the Dalmatian hinterland were visited by over 40 representatives of tourist workers, hoteliers, guides, agencies and journalists in an effort to boost the tourism offer in the inland region. TCN was fortunate to take part in the convention, which took place from September 28-30, 2016.
With the want and will to be recognized as the new star of tourism in the Dalmatian skies, Klis musters up a development strategy with the construction of a hotel, with an expected opening over the next few years.
