Croatia Logs 437 New Coronavirus Cases, 2 Deaths

ZAGREB, 26 June 2022 - Croatia has recorded 437 new coronavirus cases and two related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Sunday.

The number of active cases now stands at 3,849, including 216 infected persons who are being treated in hospital, of whom six are placed on ventilators. 1,940 people are self-isolating.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first COVID-19 case was confirmed in Croatia, 1,145,490 people have been registered as having contracted the novel virus, of whom 16,050 have died and 1,125,591 have recovered, including 184 in the last 24 hours.

To date, 4,929,863 persons have tested for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, including 1,974 in the last 24 hours. A total of 5,257,376 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered, and 59.54 percent of the total population, or 70.82 percent of adults, have been vaccinated.

Croatia Registers 2,061 New COVID Cases, 9 Related Deaths

ZAGREB, 24 March - Croatia has registered 2,061 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours and 9 patients have died as a consequence, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Thursday.

There are currently 11,448 active cases, including 631 hospitalised patients, 41 of whom are on ventilators. There are also 6,843 people who are self-isolating.

Croatia has registered a total of 1,089,696 cases of COVID-19 since its first registered case on 25 February 2020, and 15,485 people have died as a consequence while 1,062,763 have recovered from the contagion.

To date, a total of 2,236,999 people have been fully vaccinated, which is 65.68% of the adult population.

Croatia Logs 1,242 New COVID Cases, 46 Deaths

ZAGREB, 8 Nov, 2021 - Croatia has logged 1,242 new COVID cases in the past 24 hours and 46 people have died as a consequence, the national COVID-19 response team reported on Monday.

There are currently 1,888 hospitalised patients, 246 of whom are on ventilators.

There are currently 29,265 active cases in the country and 24,255 people are self-isolating.

To date, a total of 3,184,660 tests have been conducted, including 3,703 in the past 24 hours.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, a total of 502,569 people have become infected with the novel coronavirus and 9,546 people have died as a consequence while 463,758 people have recovered, including 3,931 in the past 24 hours.
