Croatia’s victory against Iceland further consolidates the advantage in the ranking of Group I and is first in the group until further qualifications are pursued in March. Although almost everything went in Croatia's favor during the match, one thing did not: injuries.

The Croatian National Football team coach Ante Čačić has named 22 players for the qualifying match against Iceland in Zagreb on 12 November, as well as for the friendly match against Northern Ireland in Belfast on 15 November.
