Croatian and Ukrainian Defence Ministers talk Cooperation, MIGs

ZAGREB, Jan 16 (Hina) - After meeting with Croatian Defence Minister Damir Krstičević in Zagreb on Tuesday, Ukraine Defence Minister Stepan Poltorak said that he supported the respect of all contractual obligations and that when he returns home he would discuss Croatia's dissatisfaction with Ukraine's overhaul of Croatia's MiG fighter jets.

European Commission: No Outstanding Legal Issues Preventing Construction of Pelješac Bridge

ZAGREB, Jan 16 (Hina) - The European Commission (EC) doesn't have any outstanding legal issues regarding the construction of the Pelješac Bridge, the EC said on Tuesday after Croatian MP Ivan Lovrinović claimed that the EC had made the financing of that project conditional on Croatia's resolving its border issues with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Minister Butković Says Construction of Pelješac Bridge Going On

ZAGREB, Jan 16 (Hina) - Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Oleg Butković said on Tuesday the European Commission had set no conditions for the construction of the Pelješac bridge and that there were no obstacles to its construction.

ZAGREB, Jan 15 (Hina) - Božo Ljubić, the chairman of the Main Council of the Croat National Assembly (HNS), the umbrella organisation of Croat political parties in Bosnia and Herzegovina, said on Monday he expected Croatia's President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović to be welcomed in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a friend and that he did not consider her lobbying for amending electoral legislation as interference in the country's internal affairs.
