Today we continue our look at Split in history with arguably the most famous waterfront promenade in Croatia, the Split Riva.
A little bura didn't stop anyone this morning...
To be honest, not so much different...
After a week of sunshine and (almost) t-shirt weather, Split was hit hard over the night and through the morning with rain, thunder, and lightning. While the rain finally stopped around 9am this morning, a cold wind picked up which left the normal weekend Riva coffee-goers indoors.
Our Split Riva can be enjoyed as one of the most picturesque settings in the city; palm trees line the Adriatic, cafes permeate the smells of coffee through the air, and perhaps, most importantly, Brasserie on 7 has the front row seat.
