October 30, 2019 - The end of October usually means only one thing - Halloween. And while Croatia might not celebrate as heavily as our friends over in the United States, you’ll be happy to know that Split is not afraid to get into the Halloween spirit.
So, just how spooky will Split turn on Thursday? Your 2019 guide to Halloween awaits.
Fabrique
Fabrique Pub will be throwing a Halloween party hosted by the Joker on Thursday from 9 pm.
The dress code is as follows:
“Just wear a smile on your face, and the Joker is in charge of the rest.” Several prizes can be won for those sporting the best masks, including gift certificates to Terminal F and Fabrique Pub worth 500 kuna each and 250 kuna to Health in. DJ Sola will be in charge of the music, and creepy cocktails will be served.
To Je To
To Je To is bringing out DJ Fab on the decks this Thursday, with prizes for the scariest mask. And better yet? All reservations come with a free welcome drink! You can find more information below.
Charlie’s Bar
Because any excuse to dress up at Charlie’s is a good one, this year, Charlie’s will be joined by “witches, vampires and other scary friends from the underworld” on Thursday and will honor the spookiest costume with prizes!
In true Charlie’s fashion, their beloved Adios Mother F****r drink will be the color of blood.
Central the Club
Central will host their annual 'Electric Halloween' party with Robert Babicz aka Rob Acid, who will DJ an exclusive 3-hour live set for lovers of tech and house music.
The Halloween atmosphere will be heightened by lavish choreography, set design, videos and body paint for all guests. In addition to a raffle, two of the scariest creatures selected by an expert jury will receive prizes. Pero Full House and Marul will open the evening. You can find more info here.
Judino Drvo
Popular railroad club Judino Drvo is going all out for Halloween with zombie dancers, a face painting show, special sound & light effects, UV & neon corner, and music by MANISTRA with hot sauce, TYSON the devil, and ZOMBYro.
Tickets are 30 kuna and more info can be found here.
Quasimodo
Club Quasimodo is throwing their famous ‘Dirty Dancing’ party on Thursday for Halloween, with a journey into the dark 80s for what they call the ‘most obscene Halloween party in the city’.
Entrance is 20 kuna.
Bokamorra
Bokamorra is hosting a Spooky Speakeasy on Thursday with scary pizza, cocktails, and music. Costumes welcomed!
Kinoteka
This party may not be on Halloween night, but that doesn’t make it any less spooky. Kinoteka is throwing their ‘Hallowscream’ party on Saturday, November 2, with notorious bartender Roman Rabik, DJ Sensa and the Kinoteka kitchen for the fiercest fusion of Japanese, Chinese and Thai cuisine, HQ resolution cocktails and a dance floor that provides an unforgettable 4D experience!

Believe it or not, it’s almost time to welcome yet another new year. To make sure you celebrate this Split New Year’s Eve in style, we’re bringing you the best ways to kiss 2018 goodbye and say hello to 2019.
Here’s a scenario: it’s the weekend, you’re in Split, and you need something to do. Lucky for you, there are (almost) too many options for you to choose from this weekend.
One of the most anticipated events of the weekend is the ‘A DI SI TI?’ humanitarian action by the MoSt association, which will take place to for the 18th consecutive year. This year’s event has even more significance, however, as the association registered on December 15th 20 years ago, reports Dalmacija Danas on December 14, 2018.
With stalls in front of HNK Split, visitors can expect 48 different organizations, institutions, associations, schools, clubs, parties and entrepreneurs who will exhibit handicrafts, services and new and used items. From 9am, visitors can also enjoy an entertainment program, presentation of sports clubs, games for prizes, and other accompanying events.
Like all previous years, all money collected is intended exclusively for the needs of the beneficiaries at the Center for Homelessness and to decorate and equip the Center itself.
Though MoSt’s event is the highlight of our weekend, here’s a list of everything else you can enjoy in Split on Friday and Saturday, thanks to InfoZona.
