Rest and Relaxation: Your Split Spa Day Awaits

It’s funny to think that anyone would actually ever need a spa day in Dalmatia. Dalmatian people are some of the most relaxed species you’ll ever come across, and I’m pretty sure just being in the company of one will make you feel like you’ve just had an hour massage. But then again, for tourists and certain Dalmatians that want to up their relaxation, it’s good to know that Split has some wonderful spa destinations to bring you to that super level of R&R.

A little far out from the center we have Aqua Med Medical Wellness. With a team of experts in nutrition, kinesiology, physiotherapy and beauty, I’m pretty sure Aqua Med has all the bases covered. They offer services such as pilates and medical gymnastics, a series of massages and beauty treatments as well as weight loss treatments. Reviewers of Aqua Med have mentioned the greatness of staff and a very clean, comfortable and relaxing environment. Pro tip: book in advance! You can find Aqua Med on Ul. Vjekoslava Paraća 13.

Also a bit further out from the center but luckily along beautiful Trstenik beach we have the Spa at the Radisson Blu Resort. With 2,000 meters of space and 12 private treatment room, this spa is a haven for R&R. Some mentionable amenities are the sunroom, thermal area with two traditional Finnish saunas, a hydrotherapy pool and a Japanese Onsen pool. Some of the services provided are skin, body, and grooming treatments, hot stone massages, and facials. A bit steeper in price, I’m sure every kuna is worth it! The Spa at Radisson Blu is located at Put Trstenika 19.

DermaCare, which is conveniently centrally located in the Old Town of Split off Domaldova 5 may be the best bang for your buck that you don’t have to travel too far for. DermaCare offers nail services, hand and arm massages, professional makeup, chemical peels and microzone treatments. With two other locations in Zagreb, Dermacare has a wonderful reputation and is often frequented by tourists and locals alike. Walk-ins are usually fine, but be sure to call or book ahead to make sure you can relax - that’s the whole point, right?

Split really is the perfect haven when it comes to beauty and relaxation. With so many options and so many good looking people, I’m positive you can put your faith in Dalmatia and trust that we’ll make you pretty (and relaxed) again!
