ZAGREB, July 19, 2018 - The Jerusalem Office of the Simon Wiesenthal Centre issued a press statement on Wednesday condemning the participation of controversial pop singer Marko Perković ‘Thompson’ at the Croatian celebrations in Zagreb’s main square which gathered over 200,000 citizens. The Croatian football team made it to the finals in Russia, coming in second to France.

ZAGREB, May 2, 2018 - Pop singer Marko Perković Thompson was acquitted pending appeal by Slunj Misdeameanour Court on Wednesday on charges of disturbing the peace by using the salute "For the Homeland Ready" during a ceremony marking the 22nd anniversary of the military operation Storm.

At the end of a concert in Knin, Thompson as usual sang one of his song which contains “Za dom spremni” slogan.
