On 27 May, 2017, The Times released another of its popular series listing twenty top places to stay in Croatia and we weren't surprised to find Hvar, seaside villas and lighthouses dominating the list.

There are definitely more than 7 things you should know when sailing in any destination for the first time, but let’s begin here.

On Monday 8^th May 2017, Turkish Gulet Adatepe 4, was stopped in the Port of Dubrovnik and sent back to her port of embarkation in Montenegro, after it was discovered she did not possess the correct documents to operate in Croatia - ruining the holiday of British clients aboard.

Ever wanted to be a part of the sailing world, but didn't know how? Well, this is it. On April 28th to the 1st of May 2017,  myself and colleague Tara Miranda, were lucky enough to attend the Adriatic Lagoon Regatta 6.0. A Croatian pleasure regatta that provided a weekend of laughter, cuisine, dolphins, dancing and of course, sailing!

Total Croatia Sailing will go live this month; the new addition to the Total Croatia News family. We will be covering events accross the Adriatic all Summer, including the most up-to-date action from the world of competitive sailing. Total Croatia Sailing was a part of the Kornati Cup 2017 from May 1st to May 4th.

The Saint Duje Regatta will take place this weekend in Split, over the 6^th and 7^th May 2017. Following the Press-Conference, Total Croatia Sailing got chatting to the organisers and discovered this event to be so much more than just a race.
