ZAGREB, 24 Oct, 2021 - In the last 24 hours, Croatia has conducted 8,652 coronavirus tests and of them 2,293 (26.5%) have turned out to be positive, and 28 COVID patients have died, the country's COVID-19 crisis management team reported on Sunday.
Currently, there are 17,841 active cases, and of them 1,091 are hospitalised patients, including 131 placed on ventilators.
Since the first registered case of the infection with the virus on 25 February 2020, 445,325 people have caught it, and of them 9,038 have died and 418,446 have recovered, including 1,743 in the last 24 hours.
To date, over 3.03 million coronavirus tests have been conducted in the country
In Croatia, 55.72% of the adult citizens have fully been vaccinated against this infectious disease.

ZAGREB, 17 Oct, 2021 - Croatia has registered 1,301 new coronavirus cases and 19 COVID-19-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Sunday.
The number of active cases currently stands at 10,284. This includes 903 infected persons who are receiving hospital treatment, of whom 116 are on ventilators. 19,591 people are self-isolating.
Since 25 February 2020, when the first case of coronavirus infection was confirmed in the country, 427,914 people have been registered as having contracted the novel virus, of whom 8,896 have died and 408,734 have recovered, including 1,329 in the last 24 hours.
A total of 2,971,352 people have been tested for coronavirus to date, including 8,054 in the last 24 hours.
So far 3,520,008 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered, with 46.08 percent of the total population, or 55.24 percent of adults, having been vaccinated. To date, 1,870,176 people have received at least one dose of a vaccine, of whom 1,754,676 have been fully inoculated, which makes up 51.92 percent of the adult population.

ZAGREB, 16 Oct, 2021 - In the last 24 hours, Croatia has conducted 9,410 coronavirus tests, and of them every fifth (that is 1,947) has been positive, the national COVID-19 crisis management team reported on Saturday.
There are currently 10,331 active COVID-19 cases, including 871 hospitalised patients, and of them 114 were placed on ventilators on Saturday morning, or 13% of the COVID hospitalisations in the country.
In the last 24 hours, 15 people infected with the novel virus have died, raising the COVID-related death to 8,877.
Since the first registered case of the infection with the novel virus in Croatia on 25 February 2020, as many as 2,963,298 tests have been performed, and 426,613 have turned out to be positive.
To date, 407,405 persons have recovered from this disease, including 1,412 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
Croatia's share of the vaccinated adults stands now at 55.19%.
Over 1.86 million have received at least one shot, and 1,752,644 have fully been inoculated.

ZAGREB, 10 Oct, 2021 - In the past 24 hours 908 coronavirus cases and nine related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Sunday.
There are 9,423 active cases, including 839 hospitalised patients, 124 of whom are on ventilators, and 18,408 persons are self-isolating.
To date 2,913,176 persons have been tested for the virus, including 8,894 in the past 24 hours.
To date Croatia has registered 417,858 coronavirus cases, 8,722 related deaths and 399,663 recoveries, including 1,250 in the past 24 hours.
To date 45.65% of the population has been vaccinated against COVID, including 54.74% of adults, 51.36% of whom have completed vaccination.

ZAGREB, 3 Oct, 2021 - Croatia has registered 944 new coronavirus cases and 14 COVID-19-related deaths over the past 24 hours,, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Sunday.
The number of active cases stands at 9,069.
There are 779 infected persons receiving hospital treatment, and 95 of them are on ventilators.
Since 25 February 2020, when the first case was confirmed in Croatia, 408,699 people have been registered as having contracted the novel coronavirus, and 8,678 of them have died, while 390,952 have recovered, including 1,082 in the last 24 hours. Currently, there are 20,198 people in self-isolation.
To date, 2,852,044 people have been tested, 9,005 of whom over the past 24 hours.
As at 2 October, 3,447,108 vaccine doses have been administered, with 45.08% of the total population, or 54,07% of the adult population, having been vaccinated. 1,829,251 people have received at least one dose and of them 1,714,992 have been fully vaccinated, which is 50.78% of the adult population.

ZAGREB, 29 Sept, 2021 - Croatia has registered 1,911 new coronavirus cases and 14 COVID-19-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Wednesday.
The number of active cases now stands at 8,101, and 745 infected persons are receiving hospital treatment, including 99 who are on ventilators.
Since 25 February 2020, when the first case was confirmed in Croatia, 403,080 people have been registered as having contracted the novel virus, of whom 8,628 have died and 386,351 have recovered, including 896 in the last 24 hours. 21,164 people are currently self-isolating.
To date, 2,813,356 people have been tested for the virus, including 10,148 in the last 24 hours.
A total of 3,419,381 doses of vaccines have been administered, with 44.66 percent of the total population, or 53.59 percent of adults, having been vaccinated. 1,812,532 people have received at least one dose and 1,700,089 have been fully vaccinated (1,606,849 people have received two vaccine doses and 93,240 have received the single-dose Jannsen vaccine), which makes up 50.34 percent of the adult population.

ZAGREB, 28 Sept, 2021 - In the last 24 hours Croatia has conducted 9,257 coronavirus tests, and 1,061 of them, (11.5%) have returned positive, whereas eight more COVID patients have died, raising the COVID-19 death toll to 8,614, the national COVID-19 crisis management team reported on Tuesday.
There are currently 7,100 active cases, and of them 738 are receiving hospital treatment including 102 patients placed on ventilators.
Since the first registered case of the infection with the novel virus in Croatia in late February 2020, the country has conducted over 2.8 million tests that have shown that 401,169 people have contracted the virus, and of them 385,455 have recovered, including 1,098 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
As many as 22,467 people are self-isolating.
To date, over 3.4 million vaccine doses have been administered, and 44.46% of the total population or 53.48% of the adult population have been vaccinated.
Every second adult Croat has fully been inoculated to date.

ZAGREB, 19 Sept, 2021 - In the past 24 hours 875 coronavirus cases and seven deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Sunday.
There are 8,286 active cases and 683 hospitalised patients, including 81 on ventilators, while 21,151 persons are self-isolating.
Croatia has registered 391,984 coronavirus cases to date, including 8,500 deaths and 375,198 recoveries, of which 1,028 in the past 24 hours.
