October 3, 2020 - From mid-September, the Valfresco Direkt delivery service expanded to the Rijeka and the Opatija Riviera area, and as of October 1, Valamar's online store has become available on the island of Krk.

HRTurizam reports that Valfresco Direkt offers the products of family farms, winemakers, olive growers, and many other local producers with a long tradition in the production of healthy and quality food, as well as traditional dishes and desserts from Valfresco Cuisine.

Valfresco Direkt offers a wide selection of fresh local products and groceries from local producers and family farms, ready-made according to traditional recipes prepared in the Central Kitchen and Valamar distribution center in Vinež, as well as many other necessities bought in the market.

Valfresco Direkt delivery is ensured every day, including Sundays and holidays, and it is enough for the customer to place an order by 1 pm for the products to be delivered the next day, with the possibility of payment by cash on delivery or card online.

Valamar cooperates with more than a hundred local partners and suppliers from Istria and Kvarner, as well as Slavonia and Dalmatia, to expand cooperation to interested partners from all parts of Croatia.

Among the partners of Valfresco Direkt is the family farm Pavan Leon from Vrbnik on the island of Krk, which has been operating for twenty years and is known for the production of pure sheep cheese, mixed cheese and cottage cheese and high-quality lamb, various vegetables and Žlahtina wine.

Valfresco Direkt is for all citizens and tourists in Istria, and at the end of June, it became available for guests in Valamar's camps on the island of Krk.

Interestingly, Valamar has also entered the market of private accommodation, where it also offers its range of dishes, i.e., its web market delivers local groceries and freshly prepared ready meals, either to their facilities such as campsites and private hoomes and thus to tourists in their apartments. The hotels of the largest Croatian tourism company, Valamar Riviera, are the winners of the most prestigious global tourism awards this year. Namely, four Valamar hotels in three destinations have won the most prestigious tourism award in the world - the World Travel Awards. A ceremony and gala dinner was held in Madeira, Portugal where representatives of Valamar were proud to receive their newest recognition, reports Poslovni.hr on June 10, 2019. 

For seven years in a row, the status as one of the best was confirmed by Poreč Hotel Valamar Riviera 4*, which won the best Croatian boutique hotel, while Valamar Collection Girandella Resort 4*/5* in Rabac received recognition as the leading Croatian resort for the third year in a row.

In Dubrovnik this year are two significant recognitions: Hotel Valamar Lacroma Dubrovnik 4* was proclaimed the leading Croatian business hotel for the sixth consecutive time, while the title of the leading hotel in Croatia went to the Valamar Collection Dubrovnik President 5* hotel.

"When you win this prestigious award for the seventh time in a row, it really confirms that you are doing a good job and are going in the right direction. We in Valamar continuously work on raising the quality and standards of our services, because we want our guests to feel comfortable and to provide them with diverse content in all our destinations. But without employees, who are the firm foundation of our company, we would not be where we are, and we would not win such awards,” said Valamar Riviera hotel director Marko Miš.

"We are exceptionally honored that professionals from all over the world, for the third year in a row, recognized our many years of investment in the quality of services we provide to our guests in the destination.
