July 13, 2018 — A small island off the coast of Zadar called Iž needed some gumption and plenty of luck as locals formed a bucket brigade to extinguish an unexpected wildfire.

Firefighters are still fighting fires all over Dalmatia. The most critical situation is still in Šibenik-Knin County and Zadar County.

Around 1,000 citizens of Split gathered last night to send one message loud and clear: Split is our city and it is time that the quality and security of life for all citizens becomes a priority.
