Mihaela Šego teaches Croatian to foreigners, is the owner of CRO to go – Croatian for foreigners language school, ands also a blogger, mom, and funny short stories author, born and raised in Karlovac, the town on four rivers.
She’s lived in Zagreb since her university days, when she graduated Croatian Language and Pedagogy at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. She started teaching Croatian around the same time and she’s been working hard to increase the number of Croatian-speaking people around the world ever since.
In her free time, which mostly occurs after her children have gone to bed, Mihaela likes to daydream and imagine different things, and her ideas can be found on her blog, rashchupanepriche.blog.hr (“rumpled stories”), which offers insight into day-to-day life of a rumpled family.
Her second favourite free-time activity is simply running away to Karlovac, sitting by the River Kupa and coming up with new stories.
