Split Signs Contract for Development of City by 2030, 200 Experts Involved

Croatian Telecom Among Fastest Mobile Networks in the World

Croatian Telecom has one of the ten fastest mobile networks in the world and the second fastest in the Deutsche Telekom group, the operator announced. This is the result of an independent measurement project, the so-called P3 certificate. HT has won 948 points out of a maximum of 1,000. After Four Years of Growth, Industrial Production in Croatia Plummets

ZAGREB, January 29, 2019 - Industrial production in Croatia in December plummeted by 6.6% compared to December 2017, and this has been sharpest decline in the last two years, whereas industrial production shrank for the whole of 2018, for the first time in four years, according to data provided by the national statistical office (DZS) on Tuesday. Brodosplit Owner Confirms Interest in Uljanik Shipyard

HBOR to Develop Venture Capital Industry in Croatia

ZAGREB, January 28, 2019 - The Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) and the European Investment Fund (EIF) on Monday signed a 70 million-euro investment programme to support fast-growing SMEs and mid-caps established and operating in Croatia. Majority of Newly-Employed Work on Fixed-Term Contracts

ZAGREB, January 27, 2019 - Statistics provided by the Croatian Pension Insurance Fund (HZMO) show that a quarter of Croatian employees have fixed-term contracts, while the lion's share of the newly employed, that is 90% of them, are temporary workers, which is why unionists warn that the government-sponsored measures to boost employment are inefficient.
