PM Opens Dormitory in Novska, Town of Gaming Industry

ZAGREB, 12 January, 2022 - The town of Novska, 95 kilometres southeast of Zagreb, has positioned itself as a place open to development of the gaming industry, and on Wednesday Prime Minister Andrej Plenković opened a dormitory for a local secondary school that has introduced a course in game development. World Bank Slightly Revises Down Croatian Growth Forecast for 2022

ZAGREB, 12 January, 2022 - The World Bank on Tuesday slightly revised down growth prospects for the Croatian and global economy in 2022, citing the uncertain environment of continued disruptions related to the COVID-19 pandemic and rising inflation. The World Bank now projects Croatian growth for 2022 at 5.4%, compared with 6.0% forecast last October. On the other hand, the growth projection for 2021 has been revised upward from 7.6% to 9.4%. ZSE Indices Continue to Grow

ZAGREB, 10 Jan 2022 - The main Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) indices continued to grow on Monday, with the Crobex increasing by 0.08% to 2140.59 points and the Crobex10 rising by 0.34% to 1299.07 points, and regular turnover doubled compared to Friday. Number of Workers in Industrial Sector Stable in November

ZAGREB, 10 Jan 2022 - The number of workers in the industrial sector in November 2021 grew by 0.1% compared to October while in comparison to November 2020 it was down by 0.3%, show data from the national statistical office (DZS).
