Croatia's Industrial Output Rises for 12 Months in Row

ZAGREB, 30 Dec 2021 - Croatia's industrial production grew in November 2021 by 3.7% compared to November 2020, thus rising for the 12th straight month, according to data provided by the national statistical office (DZS). The 12-month rising streak indicates that Croatia's economy continues to bounce back from the corona crisis. 300 New, 300 Old Tourist Board Directors in Croatia from January 1, 2022

December 30, 2021 - According to the latest information from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, 300 tourist board directors in Croatia will be replaced immediately after the New Year. Namely, on January 1, 2022, the provision of the article of the new Law on Tourist Boards and the Promotion of Croatian Tourism, which was adopted in 2020, enters into force, reports Index.hr. Adris Group Plans to Invest HRK 3.2 bn by 2024

ZAGREB, 29 December, 2021 - The Adris Group plans to to invest HRK 3.2 billion by 2024, of which 80% or HRK 2.5 billion in the tourism sector, the tourism and insurance group's Director of Corporate Communications, Predrag Grubić, told Hina on Wednesday. HRK 522.6m Contract for Wastewater Processing Plant in Rijeka Signed

ZAGREB, 28 December, 2021 - An agreement on designing and building a wastewater processing plant worth HRK 522.6 million (€69.68 million) was signed in Rijeka on Tuesday by the local utility company "Vodovod i kanalizacija", as the contracting entity, and a Chinese consortium as the contractor. Telemach Donates 100,000 Kuna to Petrinja Kindergarten

ZSE Indices Slide

ZAGREB, 20 Dec 2021 - The main Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) indices slid on Monday, the Crobex by 0.28% to 2029.41 points and the Crobex10 by 0.37% to 1,242.99 points. Regular turnover was HRK 6.4 million, about one million less than on Friday. The highest turnover, of HRK 1.35 million, was generated by the stock of the HT telecommunications company. Average Farmland Rent €106 Per Hectare

ZAGREB, 20 Dec  2021 - The average rental rate of arable land in Croatia in 2020 amounted to HRK 793 (€106) per hectare, which is HRK 26 (€3.5) more than in 2019, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (DZS) reported on Monday. The statistics indicate that in 2020 the average grassland rent was HRK 525 per hectare or HRK 13 more year-on-year whereas pastures increased by HRK 12 to HRK 343 per hectare.
