November 26, 2021 - Adria Business Network #18 was held with sales expert Vedran Sorić, who added excellent energy to the networking event.
Adria Business Network #18 hosted sales enthusiast and consultant Vedran Sorić at his second gathering this season. The event was organized by entrepreneurs Željka Barišić, owner of Forca Digital Agency (www.forcadigitalagency.com), and Lee Kosović, owner of LOL Event Management (www.lol.hr) at Aspira College, which is a partner of the event. The goal of the event is business networking in Croatia and the region, creating business opportunities and encouraging continuous education. The event offers the opportunity for all participants to get to know each other better and network better and in a targeted way.
Vedran reviewed the event:
“I have always considered and will consider that such events where knowledge is transferred are never enough. So my message would be that just as each of us is an individual, so are our customers. If customers don’t accept you as what you are, you may not be the ideal salesperson for them. Can you learn some of that to reduce that difference? YOU CAN. Can you adapt to most situations and people and be flexible in your performance? YOU CAN. After all, that's what real professionals do. But can you achieve that in 100% of cases? Probably YES, if you put in a lot of effort, but the question is DO YOU WANT IT?"
Željka Barišić, Forca Digital Agency owner and one of the founders of Adria Business Network, added: “Excellent energy and a lecture supported by concrete examples. The audience was also delighted because Vedran included them in the interaction. For the first time, we had networked with Sana delicacies that everyone present could enjoy. One wonderful evening that motivated us to continue with the same enthusiasm.”

November 15, 2021 - Adria Business Network #18 will be held on November 24, 2021, at 6 pm at Aspira High School, Heinzelova 62a, in Zagreb.
The event is organized and hosted by Željka Barišić, owner of Forca Digital Agency (www.forcadigitalagency.com), and Lea Kosović, owner of LOL Event Management (www.lol.hr).
The featured guest for this edition is Vedran Sorić. As a young entrepreneur, Vedran wanted to learn as many things as possible - people would say: "he was everywhere". A long time ago, he found his business path in sales, combining it with his greatest passions - the automotive world and modern technologies (IT/artificial intelligence).
Over time, he has tried his hand at most sales positions - from sales representative, KAM, sales manager, business development manager to sales director, and finally executive director and board member. He has also experienced many challenges around the world, constantly learning to understand and accept different cultures, opinions, and ways of communicating.
Over the years, he has helped many salespeople, managers, and sales managers rethink the way they communicate, negotiate, and live in a sales world. He claims a wise person once told him, "You don't work in sales - you live it."
For Vedran, selling is the heart, soul, and bloodstream of every business.
After the panel, attendees will be able to present a one-minute pitch so that all participants can get to know each other.
Finally, in an informal gathering with quality wines from the sponsors, everyone will have the opportunity to share experiences with other participants.

May 28, 2021 - Adria Business Network #16, organized by entrepreneurs Željka Barišić, owner of Forca Digital Agency (www.forcadigitalagency.com), and Kristina Krstinić, owner of MIKRIS Project Management (www.mikris.eu), was held on May 26, 2021, for the second time at Aspira High School. Monika Mikac was the featured guest.
The event's goal is business networking in Croatia and the region, creating business opportunities, and encouraging continuous education. The event offers the opportunity for all participants to get to know each other better and network better and in a targeted way.
The guest lecturer was Monika Mikac, CBO at QEV Technologies, a company that leads one of the Formula E teams and offers engineering services for the automotive industry focused on the electrification segment. She started her career as a COO at Rimac Automobili d.o.o.
Monika said the following about the event: “It was a pleasure to share my story and experiences at this event. I like that it was not a classic presentation but a pleasant conversation and interaction with all the other participants. Networking after the panel offered an opportunity to get to know the participants better, but also to make good contacts for future business."
“It was extraordinary to be in the company of a female from the automotive industry because it’s a predominantly male world. We received a lot of practical advice, from the fact that it is worth learning Chinese to that the companies we work in, in addition to business, can also give us valuable life experiences, mostly based on interpersonal relationships. In addition, we learned a bit about Formula E-racing and how electric cars work," Željka Barišić, owner of Forca Digital Agency and one of the founders of Adria Business Network, said after the event.
“Another fun and inspiring gathering is behind us. Our guest Monika Mikac talked about the trends in the e-car industry and its turbulent beginnings. In addition, she gave us some excellent advice, and what I remember the most is that if you are young, you should not be afraid to learn new jobs/projects because the worst that can happen is to fail, but again, on the other hand, what is the best that can happen is - to succeed! And that's why young people shouldn't be afraid to take risks, because the one who is ready to give will get it," said Kristina Krstinić, owner of MIKRIS Project Management in Zagreb and also the founder of Adria Business Network.

The organizers and hosts said the following about the atmosphere at the event:
"Given the whole situation with the pandemic and having to limit socializing to 25 people, I can say that the atmosphere was a little different from what we are used to and that the social part this time had the impression of a family gathering. There were fewer of us so the audience could participate more often in the discussion with their questions. A really nice interaction was created between the guest lecturer and everyone present. The new location where we held our event for the first time last night, Aspira High School, brought new energy to the whole story and we are happy about that," Željka Barišić, owner of Forca Digital Agency and one of the founders of Adria Business Network, said after the event.
“Behind us is another great lecture, which was extremely instructive. Matija Žulj not only presented his entrepreneurial path but also educated us about food and its method of production. This was followed by relaxed networking with great drinks from the Bornstein wine shop," said Kristina Krstinić, owner of MIKRIS Project Management in Zagreb and also the founder of Adria Business Network, after the event.
