ZAGREB, January 23, 2018 - British American Tobacco's (BAT) Adria region, which is managed from Croatia, will invest 40 million euro in its factory in Kanfanar, Istria, in 2018, the company said on Tuesday.
Since BAT's acquisition, the Rovinj Tobacco Factory’s production at Kanfanar has grown by 40 percent.
BAT’s factory at Kanfanar will focus on German market next year.
In one year since the takeover, BAT has invested 20 million euros in the Croatian tobacco company.
