Construction Growth Slows Down

ZAGREB, March 12, 2018 - The volume of construction work done by companies with 20 or more employees in 2017 was 2.2% higher than in 2016, while the amount of the new contracts was up 11.5%, show preliminary statistics published by the national statistical office (DZS).

ZAGREB, February 19, 2018 - A total of 825 building permits were issued in Croatia in December 2017, 5% fewer than the year before, while the value of work performed under the building permits issued decreased by 14% to 2.53 billion kuna, according to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (DZS).
