Making sure your beach time in Hvar town is free of adverts and plastic

A cosmetic change to improve the level of quality on the beaches of Hvar Town has been announced, reports Dalmacija Danas on January 5, 2017. 

Hvar Town Mayor Riki Novak's decision to install signs with fines for inappropriate behaviour and dress in the town caused plenty of international media attention. TCN joined the New York Times on July 12, 2017, to discuss his plans in more detail. 

Are changes finally coming to Hvar town?

In his first interview with the Dalmacija Danas portal, he disclosed why he ran for mayor, what his first moves will be and how he intends to work with the Town Council.
