ZAGREB, 1 May 2022 - After a two-year break caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Mass will be served on the occasion of St. Domnius' Day in Split by the Apostolic Nuncio to Croatia, Giorgio Lingua, on 7 May.
The religious service will be preceded by the traditional procession through the city centre, the authorities of that Croatian coastal city said recently.
From 28 April to 7 May, masses, sermons and spiritual music concerts are being held in Split in honour of the city's patron saint, the city administration said.
Events marking St. Domnius' Day started as early as 15 March with a boccia tournament, with matches played every Saturday, and they will end on 15 May with a race of rowing legends of Oxford, Cambridge and Split in the city's port.
