"Marjan - A Symbol and Inspiration” is a photography exhibition that will be held at the end of this year in an effort to emphasize the need to preserve the natural and cultural heritage of Marjan.

As we mentioned last week, the Tourist Board of Split announced the numbers for 2016. In 2016 total, Split recorded 574,917 arrivals and 1,763,080 overnight stays, which is an increase in arrivals by 27%, and an increase in overnight stays by 31%. Most of the tourists to Split were from the UK, Germany, USA, France and Australia. In December alone there were 11,020 arrivals and 23,496 overnight stays, which is a 19% increase in arrivals compared to 2015. After a record tourist season, the Tourist Board of Split extends their gratitude and announces plans for the future, as reported by Slobodna Dalmacija on January 9, 2017.
Speakers Tanja Vuković and Marina Kovačević, experts in Internet advertising with over 10 years experience, are to hold a series of classes in an effort to enhance the tourist offer of Split-Dalmatia County.
