Croatia Logs 595 New COVID-19 Cases, Six Deaths

ZAGREB, 28 Aug, 2021 - In the past 24 hours, 595 new coronavirus cases and six COVID-19-related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Saturday, noting that 10,173 tests were conducted in that period.

There are currently 3,434 active cases, including 374 hospitalised patients, of whom 43 are on ventilators.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case of the disease was reported in Croatia, 372,814 people have been infected, of whom 8,324 have died.

A total of 361,056 people have recovered, including 508 in the last 24 hours.

Currently 8,061 people are self-isolating.

To date, 2,521,032 people have been tested.

To date, 3,253,119 vaccine doses have been administered, with 42.30% of the population having been vaccinated, including 50.81% of adults.

One dose has been administered to 1,716,520 persons while 1,604,377 persons have been fully vaccinated -- 1,536,599 have received both doses and 67,778 have received the single-dose Janssen vaccine -- which is 47.55% of the adult population.

Croatia Logs 677 New Coronavirus Cases, Four Deaths

ZAGREB, 25 Aug, 2021 - In the past 24 hours, 677 coronavirus cases and four COVID-related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Wednesday.

The number of active cases is 2,951 and there are 356 hospitalised patients, including 46 on ventilators, while 6,858 persons are self-isolating.

To date, 2,490,899 tests for the virus have been conducted, including 10,453 in the last 24 hours when the share of positive tests was 6.5%.

To date, 3,227,814 vaccine doses have been administered, with 41.99% of the population having been vaccinated, including 50.45% of adults.

One dose has been administered to 1,703,929 persons while 1,589,077 persons have been fully vaccinated -- 1,523,885 have received both doses and 65,192 have received the single-dose Janssen vaccine -- which is 47.1% of the adult population.

To date, Croatia has registered 370,985 coronavirus cases and 8,310 deaths, while 359,724 persons have recovered from COVID-19, including 282 in the past 24 hours.

Croatia Logs 470 New Coronavirus Cases, Three Deaths

ZAGREB, 24 Aug, 2021 - In the past 24 hours, 470 coronavirus cases and three related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Tuesday.

The number of active cases is 2,560 and there are 330 hospitalised patients, including 44 on ventilators, while 6,961 persons are self-isolating.

To date, Croatia has registered 370,308 coronavirus cases and 8,306 deaths, while 359,442 persons have recovered from COVID-19, including 343 in the past 24 hours.

To date, 2,480,446 persons have been tested for the virus, including 9,989 in the last 24 hours.

To date, 3,219,595 vaccine doses have been administered, with 41.9% of the population having been vaccinated, including 50.35% of adults.

One dose has been administered to 1,700,378 persons while 1,583,703 persons have been fully vaccinated -- 1,519,217 have received both doses and 64,486 have received the single-dose Janssen vaccine -- which is 46.95% of the adult population.

Croatia Logs 373 New Cases, Three COVID-19 Related Deaths

ZAGREB, 22 August, 2021 - In the past 24 hours, 373 coronavirus cases and three COVID-related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Sunday.

The number of active cases is 2,695 and there are 275 hospitalised patients, including 35 on ventilators, while 6,761 persons are self-isolating.

To date, Croatia has registered 369,765 coronavirus cases and 8,301 deaths, while 358,769 persons have recovered from COVID-19, including 339 in the past 24 hours.

To date, 2,466,573 persons have been tested for the virus, including 9,397 in the last 24 hours

To date, 3,212,084 vaccine doses have been administered, with 41.82% of the population vaccinated, including 50.25% of adults.

One dose has been administered to 1,697,152 persons, while 1,578,699 persons have been fully vaccinated - 1,514,932 who have received both doses and 63,767 who have received a single-dose of the Janssen vaccine -- which is 46.80% of the adult population.

Croatia Logs 505 New Cases, Three COVID-19 Related Deaths

ZAGREB, 21 Aug, 2021 - In the past 24 hours, 505 coronavirus cases and three COVID-related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Saturday

The number of active cases is 2,644 and there are 258 hospitalised patients, including 34 on ventilators, while 6,810 persons are self-isolating.

To date, Croatia has registered 369,392 coronavirus cases and 8,298 deaths, while 358,430 persons have recovered from COVID-19, including 347 in the past 24 hours.

To date, 2,457,176 persons have been tested for the virus.

To date, 3,208,101 vaccine doses have been administered, with 41.76% of the population vaccinated, including 50.19% of adults.

One dose has been administered to 1,694,827 persons, while 1,576,504 persons have been fully vaccinated - 1,513,274 who have received both doses and 63,230 who have received a single-dose of the Janssen vaccine -- which is 46.74% of the adult population.

Croatia Logs 468 New Cases, One COVID-19 Related Death

ZAGREB, 20 Aug, 2021 - In the past 24 hours, 468 coronavirus cases out of 9,948 tests (4.7%) and one COVID-related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Friday.

The number of active cases is 2,509 and there are 251 hospitalised patients, including 26 on ventilators, while 6,472 persons are self-isolating.

To date, Croatia has registered 368,887 coronavirus cases and 8,295 deaths, while 358,083 persons have recovered from COVID-19, including 313 in the past 24 hours.

To date, 2,447,178 persons have been tested for the virus.

To date, 3,200,638 vaccine doses have been administered, with 41.69% of the population vaccinated, including 50.1% of adults.

One dose has been administered to 1,691,778,554 persons, while 1,571,296 persons have been fully vaccinated - 1,508,860 who have received both doses and 62,436 who have received a single-dose of the Janssen vaccine -- which is 46.59% of the adult population.

Croatia's Coronavirus Update: 486 New Cases, 3 Deaths, 252 Recoveries

ZAGREB, 19 Aug, 2021 - In the last 24 hours, 9,962 coronavirus tests have been conducted in Croatia, and  4.87% of them, that is 486, have come back positive, Croatia's national COVID-19 crisis management team reported on Thursday.

The COVID-related death toll has risen by three to 8,294.

Currently there are 2,355 active cases of the infection with coronavirus, and of them 244 are hospitalised patients, including 25 patients placed on ventilators.

Since the first registered case of the infection with this novel virus in Croatia ion 25 February 2020, 2,437,230 tests have been performed, showing that 368,419 people have caught the virus, and of them 357,770 have recovered to date, including 252 recoveries in the last 24 hours.

Croatia has administered more than three million vaccine doses, and 41.60% of the total population has got at a shot, or 49.99% of the adult population.

Croatia Reports 341 COVID-19 Cases, Three Deaths, 253 Recoveries

ZAGREB, 17 Aug, 2021 - In the past 24 hours, 341 coronavirus cases, out of 8,561 tests (4%), and three deaths have been confirmed in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Tuesday.

A total of 220 patients are hospitalised, including 26 on ventilators.

The death toll now stands at 8,288.

There are 1,803 active cases and 5,753 persons are self-isolating.

Croatia has so far tested 2,417,389 people and infection has been confirmed in 376,409.

Of that number, 357,318 people have recovered, including 253 in the last 24 hours.

To date, Croatia has fully vaccinated 46.10% of the adult population.

Croatia Reports 298 New COVID Cases, One Death

ZAGREB, 15 Aug, 2021 - In the past 24 hours, 298 coronavirus cases, out of 8,015 tests, and one death has been confirmed in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Sunday.

There are 1,903 active cases and 193 hospitalised patients, including 21 on ventilators, while 5,194 persons are self-isolating.

Croatia has logged 367,022 coronavirus cases to date, including 8,283 deaths and 356,836 patients who have recovered, of which 176 in the past 24 hours.

To date, Croatia has vaccinated 41.4% of the population, including 49.7% of adults, 45.95% of whom have been fully vaccinated.

Croatia’s Coronavirus Update: 367 New Cases, 2 Deaths, 223 Recoveries

ZAGREB, 14 Aug, 2021 - In the last 24 hours, 9,194 coronavirus tests have been performed in Croatia, and of them 4%, that is 367, have come back positive, the national COVID-19 crisis management team reported on Saturday.

The COVID-19 death toll has risen by two to 8,282.

Currently, there are 1,782 active cases, and 192 patients infected with this virus are receiving hospital treatment including 20 placed on ventilators.

Since the first registered case of the infection with coronavirus in Croatia on 25 February 2020, 366,724 people have tested positive, and of them, 356,660 have to date recovered, including 223 recoveries in the last 24 hours.

One in two adult Croats vaccinated against COVID-19

Since the start of the vaccine rollout, 3,166,258 coronavirus vaccine doses have been administered in Croatia, and four in ten citizens (41.4%) have got vaccinated, or 49.7% of the adult population.

So far, nearly 1.68 million people have been given a shot, while 1.55 million have fully been vaccinated, that is 45.9% of the adult population.
