Herceg Ethno Village

By 17 April 2017

Herceg Ethno Village is a place where time seems to have stood still, and life is simple, just like in the old days. Here, the silent stone streets, century old olive trees and beautiful stone walls transport you to bygone times, where hardworking men with callous hands took rocks and some land and managed to grow grape vines, olive trees and figs.
One of the most important parts of the village is the valuable ethnographic collection, which provides an insight into ancient life in Herzegovina. After walking around the village, you will visit the Herceg Ethno Restaurant where you can sample the delicious food paired with locally produced wine.

Since Herzegovina has always been a wine-growing land, the Herceg village built vineyards and grew indigenous varieties of Zilavka and Blatina grapes, meaning that this is your chance to take some of the best Herzegovina wines back home with you.

Transportation, lunch and wine tasting are included in the price of this tour. The 2.5-hour tour costs €20 per person.
