Cedevita’s Major New Project: Drinks from Vending Machines

By 4 November 2015

Popular Croatian drink Cedevita to be available in vending machines, goes international.

Atlantic Grupa, majority owned by Emil Tedeschi, plans to install several vending machines for Cedevita drinks in Zagreb, Ljubljana, Vienna and Salzburg by the end of this year, reports Tportal on November 4, 2015.

That will be just a test phase for a much larger project which Atlantic Grupa plans to launch to strengthen the image of its important brand in the region, but also in the markets of countries of Western Europe. If the results of the test phase are positive, Tedeschi is ready to make substantial investments in the expansion of the project. “This is a completely new concept which represents an innovation, not only at a regional but also at a global level", representatives of Atlantic Grupa explained their plans.

Cedevita Vitamin Points, as the vending machines will be called, will communicate with consumers via smart-phones or tablets. The platform will be a mobile application customized for Android and iOS operating systems. According to Atlantic Grupa, “the application will allow our customers to order and pay for Cedevita drinks via mobile phones and tablets. In addition to mobile devices, Cedevita can be ordered via the interactive display on the vending machine itself. Payment can be via a SMS text message, Pay Pal and, of course, with coins.”

Atlantic added that Cedevita is one of the key brands in the internationalization strategy of Atlantic Grupa's portfolio in markets outside the region.

Cedevita vending machines had its premiere at this year's Expo in Milan, with a presentation organized in cooperation with the Consulate General of the Republic of Croatia.
