App created by Molekula for Rijeka Tourist Board is among 17 finalists
Mobile Application Bike Rijeka, created for the Rijeka Tourist Board is one of the finalists of the 12th annual UNWTO Awards for Excellence and Innovation. The winners in the four categories – public policy and governance, research and technology, enterprises and non governmental organisations – will be announced on 20 January 2016 at the UNWTO Awards Ceremony at FITUR in Madrid, Spain.
A total of 17 projects from Africa, Latin America, Asia and Europe have been selected, from a total of 109 candidacies proving once again that Croatian IT companies are among the best in the world when it comes to innovative programs and applications.
Bike Rijeka Mobile App enables you to search for more than 40 cycling trails shown on Google Maps and provides detailed directions on how to reach them. All trails include descriptions attractions, locations of nearby food and drink venues, service centres, accommodation options and everything else you need to explore new trails during your stay in Rijeka. Application is available on Google Play and AppStore
