By 20 July 2015

Lidl exports of Croatian goods up 70%.

Lidl, one of the largest retail chains in Europe is doing its bit in promoting Croatian products within the European Union and beyond. According to their press release, which was issued today, they have increased their export of Croatian goods by a whopping 70% compared to 2014. Value of exported goods is over 3,4 million euros and the reason for such a large increase is the high quality of products and fantastic cooperation with Croatian producers.

Apart from PPK and Pivac, whose products have been in the EU markets for a few years now, largest increase and interest this year was for products by Vodoplast and Atlantic while Dukat, Meggle Croatia, Kandit and Zdenka are the new companies that have started offering their products through Lidl's network in 2015.

Most of these products are exported to Slovenia, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Hungary while plans are currently underway to introduce these products to Spain and Portugal and all other countries within Lidl's growing network.
