One Zagreb startup is well on its way to achieving its core mission.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 14th of May, 2018, the Zagreb-based Croatian startup under the name of Oradian has achieved a new goal and reached an important milestone in its incredible transformation from being just another small European startup to an international company by hiring its 100th team member in May 2018. Oradian's Continuous employment further accelerates its core mission of financial inclusion: The linking of 100 million families from some of the world's most difficult-to-reach communities with financial services.
Through a set of cloud-based tools created for emerging-market financial institutions, Oradian enables its users to become more efficient, grow, and reach more customers - many of whom have to live on less than 2 dollars per day. The value Oradian and its set of tools bring to its customers has led to continuous business development in eight countries throughout Southeast Asia and Africa.
Commenting on Oradian's growth, co-founder and CEO, Antonio Šeparović, said, "Our investor support has made our global expansion possible. In addition to their continued support, we're able to have a real impact on the communities in which our users work. Their investment in Oradian enables us to create our market teams and give us the ability to always go one step further in order to give value to our customers.''
Since Oradian was founded back in 2012 by four micro creditors, the team and its community of users have steadily grown from year to year. In the first five years, Oradian was staffed by up to 50 employees, a more than significant increase from the original four members, while from June 2017 to May 2018, Oradian's number of employees has doubled from 50 to 100. Today, Oradian has about 60 employees working at the seat of the company in the capital of Zagreb, a a further 40 employees working on the markets on which its customers operate.
