Just last month, a new burger bar graced Matejuska with its presence, and that is Toto’s. Owned and operated by two friends Zrinka and Anamaria, their mission to bring a healthy burger option to the city of Split came to life, and today the people of Split are lucky to have Toto's as a new dining option.
Anamaria and Zrinka felt it was important to also bring high quality fast food (and still at a cheap price) to residents and tourists of the city, and in doing so, created a versatile menu with no lack of options for anyone.
The hamburgers are exclusively Croatian beef, and come in weighing 150g. They also offer chicken burgers, brie burgers, a Toto burger (which comes topped with an egg and parmesan), a prawn and octopus burger (for you pescatarians out there), and prawn skewers. The menu also boasts a tsunami sandwich (chicken, homemade bread, lettuce, tomatoes, and yogurt sauce), fresh soups and salads, zucchini noodles (very popular amongst the health crazed today), and a variation of pomfrit, domestic potatoes, and onion rings. They serve coffees, teas, various beers and soft drinks, and even have gluten and lactose free dessert options! One thing to look out for: their combo menu. This is a single burger of your choice, french fries, and a small drink (including beer)!
The decor inside Toto’s is modern with a country flair. Their symbol is a happy cow and you’ll see signage all over the restaurant with inspirational quotes such as “cooking with love provides food for the soul” and “good food for a good mood”. The staff are lively and helpful and are there to make your new Split burger experience the best it can be.
Menu items range from 40 - 55 kuna, with combo options from 52 - 57 kuna. We’d have to admit, Toto’s is doing a great job so far in feeding those hungry for a burger at a price that won’t break the bank! You can visit Toto’s at Trumbićeva obala 2, and they are open daily from 10am-10pm.
Here’s your new way to stay fit in Split, try Toto’s today!
