Remember that “anti-boredom” group we were telling you about a few weeks back? Well, they are at it again (and this time with an uber cool event we all may find ourselves participating in)!
Slacklining, the activity at this Saturday’s event, is the act of walking or balancing along a suspended length of flat webbing that is tensioned between two anchors. In other words, similar to walking on a tightrope (without the heights).
Having started in California's Yosemite Park in the early 1960s, slacklining was used as as a method of relaxation after climbing. In recent years, slacklining has become a very popular activity throughout the world, and the number of slacklining enthusiasts is on the definite rise. We’re sure you’ve even seen this being practiced at Sustipan, we know we have!
To learn the art of slacklining, join Ubijmo Dosadu this Saturday, June 4th at 17:30h. Event will take place at Sustipan (you’ll see the colorful ropes tied onto the trees).
Don’t miss this one!
