In its fifth edition this year, the regional festival Graffiti na Gradele returns to Bol on Brač. This most entertaining street art, graffiti and music festival will be held from July 28-30.
With the announcement of art and performances by Krankšvester, Kreše and Žuvija, Blaw:Blaw, Juicy Croatia, DJ Sinke Fresh and Tikacha, and graffiti artist Lunar are the cream of the crop to this year's lineup, which will further be enriched with other additional surprises and guest appearances.
The entire music lineup is as follows: Krankšvester, High5, Krešo and Žuvi, Kuku$, Tibor, Žaegulj and Geralt from Rivije, Tone Tuoro, Toxara, Zembo, DaMental, and Marchello Mede, while the DJ program includes Blaw:Blaw, Oliver (Bassinga/Krankšvester), VRH, Tikach, Sinke Fresh, Niki Peducci, Vuk Oreb and Juicy Croatia.
Some of the most powerful and active regional names make the graffiti roster, including Pot, Lunar, Artez (BG), Chez186, Wuper (BG), Ajram (Ljubljana), artuditu, Bare Pimp my Pump Module Eight, Sarma, Anxi, Supernia, Hana, Casino Royal, Nikola Mihajlovic (BG) and Wens.
Graffiti na Gradele is a festival that brings an abundance of art, leaving an effect that continues long after the festival is over. In the area known as “Fabrike”, where the former fish factory and abandoned hotel “Bijela kuća” was, there will be a small urban art mecca, a platform for networking, new collaborations, creative workshops and a lot of fun and socializing. These festival activities are made to revive the abandoned and devastated hotel complex 'Bijela kuća’.
There will even be numerous graffiti workshops for children and youth, an exhibition of young artists, skateboard and sports events, and visitors lounge located next to the beach, open all day to the parent’s disposal.
