Zagreb will lend 12 buses to Split as a backup for Ultra weekend, which begins on July 14th and lasts for the week following.
The buses will arrive in Split this Saturday as a loan from an initiative between the mayors of Zagreb and Split.
About 6 urban buses and 6 suburban buses will be sent, in addition to Split buses “Promet”, to help drive the thousands of Ultra guests. Promet has said that the 12 Zagreb buses will serve exclusively as a direct line transporting festival goers to Poljud Stadium where the festival is held. These buses will also help with transit to Omiš and Trogir.
The returning of buses to Zagreb is expected to take place on July 22, after the festival activities have ended.
