By 13 July 2016

Since 2011, the Split Blues Festival has been in existence, running through locations such as Prokurative, the Riva, and last year’s festival at Đardin. This year, the Split Blues Festival will be held from July 21-23 at Zvončac park.

The only blues festival in the region that is broadcast by national television (HTV), Split Blues Festival is a three day music event bringing in the best local artists and European and international blues players.

Over the past 5 years, the Split Blues Festival has welcomed Paulo Mendonca, Ian Siegal, Joyce Yuille, Mike Sponza, Sahte Raki, Otprilike Ovako, Telefon Blues Band and many others.

This year’s festival lineup is as follows:

July 21 will host Rolin Humes from Rijeka, Harpoon Blues Band from Split, and Sahte Raki Blues Band from Istanbul.

July 22 brings in Light Under the Black Mountain from Kotor, Trio Trabacool from Split, and Atomsko Sklonište from Pula.

July 23, the last day of the festival, will host La Grange from Široki Brijeg, Otprilike Ovako from Split, and The Jeff Jensen Band from Memphis, Tennessee.

As always, admission to the festival is free.
