With summer still in full swing and the weather warming up this week, we thought we’d encourage you to be outside and by the sea as much as you can. What better way to persuade you to do so? Here are some of the top beach clubs in Split where you can lounge in the sun, drink by the sea, and eat your hungry hearts out.
Joe’s Beach Lounge & Bar: Located in Kašjuni, you can either take the bus 12 from Sv. Frane or the Joe’s Beach taxi boat from the riva. Although the taxi boat will cost you 35kn each way, the ride is well worth it. Having opened earlier this summer, Joe’s offers up cabanas and lounge chairs with umbrellas, a cafe bar with after beach parties, and a full fledged restaurant serving up specialities like buffalo wings and cajun fried chicken. Joe’s also offers parasailing, stand up paddleboarding, sea kayaking and sea bob as activities, or you can relax with one of their massages.
Beach&Booze: Located at Bačvice beach, Beach&Booze is also new to the scene this year. Known to be the place where sunshine and cocktails meet, Beach&Booze offers up loungers with umbrellas, live djs, and a menu with everything from burgers to small snacks. They even have a lounge bar upstairs for those of you who want to chill away from the beach. Beach&Booze is accessible by walking, about 10 minutes from the center of Split.
Radisson Blu Hotel: Located in Trstenik, you can take the 15 bus to the Radisson Blu hotel, situated on a blue beach and offering its guests the pleasures that their Mistral Beach Bar has to offer. Sunbeds, loungers, and cabanas are all available to rent, and the fully equipped outdoor bar will leave you anything but thirsty. When you’re hungry you can order from the Mistral restaurant, open from 12h-18h daily in the summer. Be sure to book cabanas early as they do tend to book fast.
Zen Beach Club & Lounge: Easy to get to with bus 15, Zen is another new club to open this year and it has surely been making waves. A deluxe beach club located in Žnjan, Zen is an all ages, no entry free beach club that offers a top quality gastro experience (they even have a breakfast buffet), loungers, cabanas, a full fledged cafe and all the cocktails you can imagine. At 16h each day, Zen also hosts their “sunset sessions”, bringing in local djs for the perfect after beach party.
